  • "Would you want to work for you?" This thought-provoking question, posed by international coaching guru Brenda Bence, Ranked Top Ten Coach Globally, struck a chord with nearly 700 PETRONAS staff attending the 2024 Coaching Campaign Kuala Lumpur at PETRONAS Twin Towers, both on-site and virtually. Held on 22 and 23 October, the event marked the grand finale of Coaching Campaign 2024 – Path to Excellence series that has travelled across 5 regions since May, all in the spirit of nurturing a coaching-centric culture within PETRONAS. The finale was elevated by the wisdom of global coaching leaders: keynote speaker Brenda Bence and Jonathan Low, Global Speaking Fellow, CSP, MCC, both esteemed members of the Marshall Goldsmith 100 Coaches Agency, adding a worldclass touch to the vibrant 2-day event. From structured Keynotes and Community of Practice sharing to interactive spaces like Speak Up Your Mind and Coaching Masterclass, each session delved deep into leadership, self-reflection, and growth. And at the Coach Corner, coaches and coachees engaged 1-on-1, bringing real-life challenges to the table, bridging theory with practice. Thanks to the dedication and expertise of 20 PETRONAS internal coaches, the whole of Coaching Campaign KL was a seamless experience and a resounding success. The entire campaign’s impact has been huge! Increasing demand for Coaching Solutions, growing waiting list for sessions, and more in-house requests from across the organisation. Plus, we've seen record interest in the 2025 Professional Associate Coach programme and senior leader nominations for coaching upskilling, clearly showcasing coaching's growing value across all levels. KUDOS and a big round of applause to Sarifah Norasmawati Syed Mohd and team from the Coaching Academy of PETRONAS Leadership Centre for delivering an unforgettable coaching experience across five different regions: Kota Kinabalu, Sabah; Jakarta, Indonesia; Bintulu, Sarawak; Kerteh, Terengganu; and Kuala Lumpur.
