    My work took me to CPOC last week, working together with the entire HR Team on the topic of job analysis, job evaluation, grading structure and linking them to other HR programmes. This is an intensive class, over a period of 2 days to empower the HR team to have the key knowledge and skills in these key HR areas. Thank you to Cteven Tan for organising this, and looking forward to having more partnership together with MHRF to enhance the skillsets of our HR professionals, especially in the areas of rewards management.

    As I reflect on my journey of conducting corporate training sessions, I am reminded of the unique path I've chosen in guiding professionals. Unlike a lot of traditional training, which often revolves around ideal scenarios and textbook theories (or making sure that only politically correct ideas are presented!), my approach is grounded in real-world experiences. These experiences, while sometimes challenging conventional wisdom, offer relatable and practical insights. I do however consciously modulate my sharing to ensure that it doesn't sound overly pessimistic or I am bitter with the past challenging situations. In this realm of corporate learning, I've discovered a profound truth: life in the corporate world is a kaleidoscope of diverse personalities and approaches. From the outspoken to the quietly perceptive, each individual contributes uniquely to our collective progress. It's important to remember that behind every action and word, there is rarely malice. Instead, there's a mosaic of different methodologies and communication styles. REMEMBER, hardly anyone or very extreme small percentage people in the corporate world who are there to "GET YOU" or "FIX YOU UP". And 99.9% people that I have met in the corporate world, don't have malicious intent! They are only different - in way of doing things, saying things, managing things, and the most famous assuming things! To those feeling overwhelmed or facing tough times at this moment, Remember that, This too shall pass! Better days are always on the horizon. Happened to me multiple times! Embrace the variety and richness of experiences in the corporate landscape, knowing that each one teaches us something valuable. As we wrap up another week, I encourage everyone to carry these reflections into a restful weekend. Let's recharge and prepare for the new opportunities that await us.
