POSITION ON SUGGESTED TARIFFS ON MEXICO AND CANADA Over the last several weeks, there has been much discussion about the impacts of tariffs. At the iAlumbra Collective, we believe it’s possible for community, environment, and the economy to thrive together. This larger vision for shared prosperity is rooted in the belief that the U.S., Mexico, and Canada share deep interdependence and benefit by working together as a continental community to address our most pressing challenges and opportunities. The suggested tariffs target our neighbors and closest trading partners while undermining North America’s strength as a powerful economic bloc. They also threaten to worsen inflation and ignite another round of trade wars that ultimately harm communities, domestic output, and international competitiveness. Given today's geo-political realities, now is a time for continental cooperation, shared actions, and root-cause solutions. #EconomicIntegration #SharedProsperity #SustainableEconomy

MAR DE VIDA: REGENERACIÓN Y PROSPERIDAD EN EL GOLFO DE CALIFORNIA El Golfo de California, conocido como el "acuario del mundo," es fundamental para la salud y prosperidad de la región. Desde la seguridad alimentaria hasta el crecimiento económico, las comunidades dependen de una relación regenerativa con el mar. En el Foro Mar de Cortés, Innovaciones Alumbra, CO_Plataforma y Fundación Coppel anunciaron una agenda compartida y un compromiso de recursos para mejorar la salud del Golfo para 2025. Guiada por el Ocean Health Index, esta alianza alineará esfuerzos, fomentará inversiones y promoverá soluciones para abordar la contaminación marina, el turismo sostenible, la pesca y la acuacultura. 🌊 Guardianes de Nuestro Océano: La Comunidad Detrás de los Tewales Desde iAlumbra, celebramos cómo los tewales marinos han unido a nuestra comunidad en un esfuerzo colectivo por proteger el océano y preservar nuestras tradiciones. Artesanos y artistas locales trabajaron en equipo para crear estos guardianes del océano -símbolos de un legado compartido- apoyados por los maestros alebrijeros 'Los Negrete' de la CDMX, quienes compartieron la técnica tradicional de cartonería. 💙 Cada tewal es fruto de la colaboración, talento y dedicación de nuestra gente. Estos guardianes representan más que arte; son un recordatorio de que al unirnos como comunidad, podemos cuidar tanto nuestra biodiversidad como nuestras raíces. Local artisans and artists worked in teams to create these guardians of the ocean – symbols of a shared legacy – supported by the master alebrijeros ‘Los Negrete’ from CDMX, who shared the traditional cartonería technique. 💙 Each tewal is the fruit of the collaboration, talent and dedication of our people. These guardians represent more than art; they are a reminder that by coming together as a community, we can care for both our biodiversity and our roots.
