Congratulations to Niyaf Mohamed and Mohamed Shamin Ali for winning the BML Startup Grant 2024! ✨Niyaf’s business idea, The Island Factory, will establish a factory to introduce high quality, innovative Maldivian fish snacks. ✨Shamin’s business idea, After School, will provide locally designed and assembled STEM kits and training programs tailored for young learners. This grant is an opportunity for emerging entrepreneurs to win funding of MVR 500,000, and we’re excited to see the winners’ business idea come to life!

Conservation of Gaafu Dhaalu Vaadhoo Blue Bowls Surf Spot reef 🪸🏄♂️ Huvadhoo Assocation of Tourism (HAT) is working towards protecting this beautiful surf spot’s surrounding reef through BML Small Grants! With this initiative they hope to ensure sustainability of this natural spot for generations to come.
