Director of Finance

*We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Finance to join our clients fast growth, consumer goods organization based in South Miami.
* The business is a fast growth, innovative business who are looking to achieve a number of strategic objectives over the next 5 years which will see the Director of Finance position grow in correlation.
This position will initially be an onsite role based out of he businesses HQ in South Miami, however the working arrangement will move into a hybrid model once embedded.
The ideal candidate will have experience in cash flow analysis, cost control, account reconciliation, cost management, balance sheet reconciliation, accrual accounting, general ledger reconciliation, general ledger accounting, public accounting, and technical accounting.
*Responsibilities:-* - Oversee the financial operations of the company.
- Own the monthly financial reporting process including monthly financial statements and management packs.
- Work with senior management to implement strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Work closely with the CFO to create budgets and complete monthly and quarterly re-forecasts.
- Manage and analyze cash flow.
- Develop and implement cost control measures.
- Reconcile accounts and manage costs.
- Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate accrual accounting records.
- Manage general ledger reconciliation and accounting.
- Provide guidance on technical accounting issues.
*Experience:* - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Experience in public accounting preferred.
- Be willing to work in South Miami.
