POSITION SUMMARY:
This position assists the Financial Reporting Supervisor in the preparation and or review of financial statements and various financial reports utilized by the Finance and Accounting Department and upper management.
The position also prepares and or reviews quarterly and year-end schedules/reports for Corporate, compilation of the quarterly MD&A, chart of accounts, compilation schedules maintenance, and other financial reporting tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS: Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Master’s degree in Accounting from an accredited U.
S.
Accounting Program.
At least three (3) years of recent experience in Financial Reporting and Consolidation, or recent experience working for at least three (3) years at a large global CPA firm.
Experience with larger companies (greater than $250 million in revenue) and the financial reporting/consolidation(s) thereof.
Extremely detail oriented.
Ability to analyze reports and detect inaccuracies/errors.
Adheres to internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
Performs self-review of work to identify problems and solutions.
Intermediate/advance computer skills in programs such as MS Word, Excel & Outlook is required.
Required Excel skills include being able to perform pivot and lookup tables, utilize financial functions, and create linked workbooks that are organized to facilitate easy completion and review while maintaining necessary controls over spreadsheets.
Fluent in English at an Advanced level, both verbal and written.
Conversational in Spanish within a business context.
Ability to work independently and interact with co-workers from various departments and different levels within the organization, including upper management and executives.
Strong time management skills and highly organized.
Must work well under pressure, multi-task, and meet strict deadlines.
Ability to communicate (read and write) effectively in a business environment.
Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
Preferred Experience with ReportsNow, RPA, and BI tools Experience with JD Edwards CPA DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparation of the consolidated financial statements, including consolidation entries.
Compilation of the quarterly MD&A document presented to Corporate.
Review of the quarterly and year-end schedules/deliverables submitted to Corporate.
Maintenance of the chart of accounts, including the addition/modification of GL accounts and compiling all required documentation.
Update of all ReportsNow schedules, including financial statement schedules and ad-hoc reports.
Ensure compliance with change management requirements.
Coordination with the Accounting Department of the month-end period close, including opening and closing companies for various JD Edwards modules.
Involvement in various other projects as necessary.
Perform other financial reporting duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use his/her fingers.
The employee frequently is required to talk and/or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
