Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in the Trust Accounting Department of our Miami Office, located in Downtown Miami.

Position Summary: This is an in-office position (remote work is not an option).
Position is full-time (40 hours per week) with the flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Candidate must have prior Accounting experience in a professional services organization.
The incumbent will be primarily responsible for assisting the Miami Trust Department with various Trust and General accounting duties.
This individual will be a member of the Firmwide Trust Team to process trust transactions for other offices.
Duties & Responsibilities: Review, verify and record daily trust accounting transactions (i.
e.
Real Estate closing documents, settlement/escrow agreements, etc.
) Prepare daily bank account reconciliations Accounts payable; recording trust cash disbursements Accounts receivable; recording trust deposits.
General accounting duties as assigned Skills & Competencies: Maintain accuracy while working on multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment Strong organizational skills and deadline driven Strong written and oral communication skills Qualifications & Prior Experience: Minimum three years of accounting experience; professional services experience a plus Law firm experience a plus.
Knowledgeable with the processing of trust transactions specifically Real Estate transactions under Florida Bar Rules.
