RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Financial Operations Leadership: Manage daily financial operations, including journal entries and bookkeeping, to uphold accurate General Ledger (GL) accounting.
Bank Reconciliation Expertise: Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for diverse accounts, ensuring financial precision and control.
Accounts Management Efficiency: Oversee efficient accounts payable and receivable functions, facilitating accurate financial transactions.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate across departments, particularly in construction projects, playing a pivotal role in accounts payable coordination.
Document Organization: Diligently organize financial documents for systematic record-keeping, including bank and loan statements.
Expense Report Accuracy: Analyze and reconcile monthly credit card expense reports, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Private Equity Insights: Extract and evaluate capital call statements from private equity entities, contributing valuable insights to our investment strategies.
Comprehensive Financial Statements: Assist in preparing and distributing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, upholding transparency and accountability.
Tax Season Readiness: Actively prepare for tax season, gathering essential documentation and streamlining tax-related processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree or close to completion in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Experience: 1-2 years experience in accounting.
Software Proficiency: Experience in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Enterprise or Yardi Voyager is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
