Senior Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Auditor with a strong understanding of GAAP and extensive experience in audit procedures.
This person will have a proven track record of conducting thorough and accurate financial audits, identifying areas of improvement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
This role is a temporary position, onsite in Miami.
Responsibilities: Lead and execute financial audits in accordance with GAAP and applicable regulatory standards.
Assess and evaluate internal controls to identify weaknesses and mitigate risks.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and implement process improvements.
Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards and ensure compliance across the organization.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior audit team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Communicate audit results and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing.
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and proficiency in auditing standards and procedures.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
Ability to work a temporary position.
Ability to work onsite in Miami.
