Job Summary: As a Senior FP&A Manager- Business Partner at DreamFields, you will serve as a key liaison between the finance department and other functional areas within the organization.
This role requires a seasoned finance professional who not only possesses strong analytical skills but also can collaborate effectively, provide financial insights, and support decision-making processes across the company.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust financial models to support annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
Act as a strategic business partner to department leaders, providing financial guidance, insights, and recommendations.
Work collaboratively with operation teams to understand key drivers of performance and implement financial strategies to drive business success.
Collaborate with senior management to evaluate and support strategic initiatives, capital projects, and other business development opportunities.
Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess potential impacts on financial outcomes and advise on risk management strategies.
Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless communication and alignment of financial plans with business objectives.
Monitor and report on financial and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous performance enhancements.
Proven track record of driving commercial finance initiatives, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization efforts in a dynamic business environment.
Knowledge of commercial finance principles, including pricing analysis, revenue forecasting, and customer segmentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on business partnering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and data-gathering skills.
High proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
Advanced competency using Excel formulas and functions on a daily basis.
Proven work experience in a quantitatively heavy role.
Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
Additional Qualifications - Preferred:
Experience in a quantitatively heavy role - preferred
Familiarity with data query/data management tools (Access, SQL, Business Objects) - preferred
FMVA or similar designations - preferred
Ability to work both weekend days, Saturday and Sunday - strongly preferred
Bilingual - (English / Spanish) - strongly preferred
