Senior Accountant

Immediate need for a Senior accountant in the Aventura area- We are looking for a candidate be responsible, take initiative and want to learn.
Experienced ideally in a multi-national company and physical trading, so understanding the logistics side of owning the physical commodity as well.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification preferred) - Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role - Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles and practices - Proficient in corporate accounting procedures and regulations - Familiarity with accounting software systems (e.
g.
, QuickBooks) and an ERP system - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail - Solid understanding of technical accounting principles (e.
g.
, revenue recognition, lease accounting) - Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and requirements.
