Collection Agent
Duties:
- Contact individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debts
- Utilize phone etiquette and customer service skills to communicate effectively with debtors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities
- Follow legal and ethical guidelines when pursuing debt collection
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective collection strategies
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing debtor inquiries and concerns
Qualifications:
- Food & Vegetable Company Experience
- PACA LICENSE Experience
- Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Excellent math skills for calculating payment plans, interest, and fees
- Ability to handle difficult conversations and maintain professionalism under pressure
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
