Easter is just around the corner so naturally stores are already flooded with chocolate goodies.
But shoppers are going wild over one Mini Egg item in particular and are rushing to stores to stock up on it.
Morrisons customers have been delighted this week to see a certain seasonal treat return to the supermarket.
Easter Mini Egg cookies are back in the Morrisons bakery in stores nationwide, with a bag of five available for just £1.29 – which works out at just over 25p a pop.
They’re part of the Morrison’s Cake Shop brand and are freshly baked in store.
News of the cookie comeback was shared in the NewfoodsUK Facebook group – and shoppers have been quick to post their excitement.
‘Had this the other day and they are amazing,’ Elliot Gill replied.
Naomi Braithwaite exclaimed: ‘I want the whole packet!!’
Whereas Chloe Smith chipped in: ‘Bet these would be banging.’
While hundreds more commented and tagged friends or loved ones to share the news.
