From Mega White Chocolate buttons to ‘irresistible’ Chocolate Milkshakes, Cadbury has been on a roll with their new product launches of late — and it’s still only the first month of 2024.

But just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the chocolate giant has added another must-try treat to the list.

And the latest drop is so good, one woman claimed she wouldn’t marry her partner if she didn’t get her hands on one.

Shoppers have spotted a White Chocolate Creme Egg Easter Egg on the shelves at Asda and fans of the popular gooey product are losing their minds over it.

‘If I don’t get one of these this year I’ll cry,’ proclaimed Lozz Mary Bicknell on Facebook, after seeing a post about the egg on New Foods UK.

And she wasn’t the only one who felt this way, many fellow chocolate lovers branded it a ‘game-changer’ and a ‘need not a want’.

Tasha Grayson commented: ‘I need desperately’, as Emma Shanahan seconded the point, writing: ‘I would like three of these please just for me!’

Luned Davies proclaimed it sounded like ‘heaven’, and Rachel Steele said: ‘I live for this.’

Shaun Miller posted: ‘I’m not the biggest fan of Creme Eggs, but this could be a game-changer.’

Similarly, Darhyl Johnson added: ‘Me please. Creme Egg White is an absolute game-changer.’

While over on @uknewestfoods Instagram, @miss_ldone tagged her partner in the comments, going as far as to say: ‘If I don’t get this I’m not marrying you.’

However, not everyone was so enamoured by the new item. Some Cadbury fans were disappointed to discover that the Easter egg itself wasn’t actually a giant White Chocolate Creme Egg filled with creamy fondant, but just a hollow white chocolate shell.

The box contains the white chocolate egg, and comes with one white chocolate Creme Egg.

Asda is selling the Easter egg for £3 and it’s available to buy in-store or online.

This comes after Cadbury brought back another Easter treat, with the limited-edition dessert causing fans to race to the shops.

The Layers of Joy Eggciting dessert does what it says on the tin and combines two popular products in one. It’s a giant Creme Egg trifle complete with silky layers of dairy milk chocolate mousse, sponge and flavoured dessert.

It’s perfect for sharing, but it looks so gorgeous that dipping a spoon in and enjoying it solo (almost like an egg and solider?) seems all too tempting.

Cadbury’s first introduced it in 2018, so chocolate fans are simply egg-static that it’s returned.

‘Ooh that looks eggcellent,’ fan @willowcat124 wrote on Instagram.

‘Just ate a family size Creme Egg trifle @CadburyUK absolutely yum!’ chimed @PamelaGidd38304 on X, formerly Twitter.

‘Creme Egg trifle. Available at Iceland. Hurry, as I’m going to probably buy all of them,’ @FLP_Bateman joked.

Cadbury’s also recently launched a new Dairy Milk and White Chocolate Marble egg that reminds fans of an iconic discontinued chocolate bar, as well as admitting to making a major change to Mini Eggs.
