One of the most recognisable faces in daytime TV has been missing this week, with Warwick Davis temporarily replaced on ITV’s Tenable.
Former Coronation Street actress and presenter Sally Lindsay has taken over for the time being, leaving some viewers confused.
Warwick has been forced to leave the show for a short time due to scheduling conflicts, but the good news is he won’t be leaving the show for good.
In the meantime, Sally is set to host the game show that tasks contestants will filling in top 10 lists for the chance to win cash prizes.
Speaking about guest presenting the show, Sally said: ‘I’m a huge fan of Tenable and am delighted I’m able to share the presenting responsibilities with Warwick.
‘The demands of his workload meant that he wasn’t able to record every show in the series,’ Sally said.
Warwick will be back to present the show – here’s everything we know about his return.
When will Warwick Davis return to Tenable?
When Sally first took over from Wawrick on Monday, April 12, it was confirmed that she would be presenting a total of 25 episodes.
That means Sally will take charge of the programme on weekdays for the next five weeks, with her final episode airing on Friday, May 14.
That’s when the current series is due to end, meaning there’ll be a longer break between series before Warwick returns.
When contacted by Metro.co.uk, ITV could not confirm when Warwick would return.
Information on new episodes is expected to be shared in due course.
Warwick has been a mainstay on the programme since it launched in 2016.
Sally also revealed that he gave her some words of advice before taking over on the series.
‘He said just be in tune with the people, it is the public who make this show what it is,’ she shared.
As well as presenting Tenable, Warwick will be back on our screens in the upcoming Willow series on Disney Plus.
Tenable airs weekdays at 3pm on ITV.
