Our Curries brand is adding a Maintenance Technician to our manufacturing facility located in Mason City, IA.

Come be a part of our story because together we are stronger! What would you do as our Maintenance Mechanic? In this role you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment, machinery, and facilities.
You would also be responsible for completing maintenance activities on a day-to-day basis.
This includes preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance assignments.
You will also: Complete work order, projects and preventative maintenance.
Be accountable to be safe in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; including but not limited to working with electrical systems, HVAC systems, plumbing, manufacturing equipment – includes press brakes, roll formers, robots, conveyors, welders, lite electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, paint systems, boiler operation, cardboard compaction equipment.
Complete all paperwork pertaining to work orders, service call reports and purchase requisitions, initiate purchase requisitions for parts and document shift events, problems and repairs or actions taken.
Assist with occasional duties such as snow removal, salting sidewalks, and driveways, maintaining all vehicles and machines of (oil changes, greasing, air filters etc.
) as well as compacting cardboard, filling propane tanks, dump garbage, help with MEK barrels, used oil, wood pallet organizing, moving office equipment, and running sweeper.
Also keeping water ponds clean and maintained, run parts, manage flag pole, and filling sand lot.
Maintain adherence to all corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
The Skills and Experience you need: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
5 years of relatable experience within a manufacturing environment or completion of technical college degree in related field preferred.
Ability to rebuild & repair all production machines.
Willingness and ability to complete the following trainings and obtain license or certification: forklift license, aerial license, and all safety requirements.
Availability to work outside of normal shift, including weekend and off shift hours as needed.
Valid Driver’s License required.
