💻 Digital Transformation: Challenges, Strategies, and Political Will 📊 Digital transformation in Algeria is making great strides, but there are still challenges to overcome, such as resistance to change, the need to strengthen training in artificial intelligence, and the importance of establishing a strong local infrastructure. In this video, I share my thoughts on Algeria's digital program and the strategies needed for a successful transformation. We discuss the essential role of political will, as well as the need for continuous commitment, communication, and training at all levels. We also talk about the crucial importance of local data centers to ensure efficient information management, as well as the cybersecurity challenges that require constant vigilance, where every victory counts in the face of cyberattacks. As a proud member of the Algerian diaspora and an expert in technology and digital solutions, I have been following with great interest the recent launch of the AADL 3 housing program in Algeria. This initiative aims to provide much-needed housing to eligible citizens who have been waiting for decades. However, it is disheartening to see that the platform, despite being operational, remains inaccessible to millions. Understanding the critical importance of this project for our fellow citizens, I am offering my services free of charge to help improve and evolve the AADL 3 platform. My goal is to ensure it delivers a high-quality, efficient service that reflects the capabilities of a country embracing new technologies and progress. 🚀 Navigating the Telecommunications, Computer Services, and Information Services for better trade in services data. Here are key insights from ITC's Technical Workshop in Tunis! The rapid development of the computer services industry, resulting in innovative solutions, has made tracking the trade in telecommunications, computer, and information services a challenging task. With national banks and statistical offices racing to keep up, international guidelines are still evolving. Where do we draw the line between computer services, R&D, trade-related services, or audiovisual services? How should we categorize the activities of online platforms, measure the impact of cloud computing, or define the artificial intelligence? These are just a few of the questions tackled at ITC’s recent Technical workshop on trade in telecommunications, computer, and information services, held in Tunis on October 22-24. During three days of the workshop, ITC had the privilege of collaborating with experts from Banque Centrale de Tunisie, INS Tunisie and other institutions to explore ways to enhance the quality of data on trade in telecommunications, computer, and information services in Tunisia.
