Engagée dans le développement des femmes dans la technologie, elle occupe les rôles de Présidente du groupe IEEE Women in Engineering au Maroc et Vice-Présidente du chapitre marocain de Arab Women in Computing. Decision-making under uncertainty is a fundamental challenge across diverse fields. Traditional approaches, such as worst-case analysis and probabilistic modeling, often struggle to fully exploit real-world patterns. The recent rise of machine learning and the availability of vast data have opened new avenues, enabling predictions of unknown quantities in uncertain environments. However, predictions are often imperfect, hence leveraging them effectively is non-trivial. This has given rise to the field of learning-augmented algorithms, where the objective is to design algorithms able to exploit predictions with an unknown error level to improve decision-making. In this talk, I will introduce the framework of learning-augmented algorithms, highlighting key notions and challenges in this field. I will then present some of my recent research tackling scenarios where obtaining predictions incurs a cost, and the decision-maker only has a limited budget for querying predictions

He also holds a master’s degree in machine learning from Paris-Saclay University. Currently, he is a third-year PhD student at ENSAE, researching online and learning-augmented algorithms, with a focus on topics like scheduling, load balancing, and data structures.
