Last week, Orbio World proudly powered Agile Tour Vilnius 2024, where our COO, Gintare Stundyte, took the stage as a speaker. With over 350 participants and 55 global speakers, the event was a fantastic exchange of Agile insights! In her session, "The Agile COO: Driving operational excellence in fast-changing environments," Gintarė shared practical strategies for maintaining agility, aligning teams, and leading through change—drawing from nearly 20 years in IT, telecommunications, and startups. A big thank you to Agile Lietuva for organizing such a dynamic event. We’re inspired to keep pushing boundaries in Agile excellence!

This week has been packed with milestones, and we couldn’t be prouder! 🎉 We recently welcomed our 200th team member, marking an exciting new chapter in our journey. To keep up with our growing team, we’ve expanded our Kaunas office with 60 extra seats, giving our talented colleagues even more room to innovate and collaborate. While remote work is a big focus for many, we’re dedicated to fostering a healthy work-life balance both from home and in the office. It’s all part of our #breaktobuild mindset—constantly evolving to support our team wherever they work best. So, any bets on how long we’ll fit into our new spaces? 😄

September marks the beginning of a new learning season at Orbio World, with our teams actively expanding their knowledge by attending key conferences across the globe. 🍂 ▪️ Our IT team attended a major AI and IT conference, gaining valuable insights from experts at Microsoft, Amazon, and Gurtam on AI and programming innovations. ▪️ In Warsaw, the marketing team participated in the Meta Marketing Summit, diving into the role of AI in marketing and the exciting intersection of culture and technology to drive action. ▪️ In Budapest, the affiliate team took part in Affiliate World Europe, where they strengthened partnerships and explored new opportunities for collaboration. ▪️ Meanwhile, the Amazon team attended Amazon UK's first-ever Amazon Connect conference in London, gaining insights through engaging presentations and networking with Amazon experts, helping them broaden their perspectives and build meaningful connections. ▪️ Closer to home, our HR team actively participated in the HR Week Lithuania conference, where they deepened their understanding of HR procedures, explored cutting-edge AI applications in HR, and shared knowledge with other leaders in the field. We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our new office in Vilnius! 🎉 Over the past year, our team has expanded, and with that growth came the need for more space. The beginning of July was an exciting time for our team as we celebrated the closing of our Q2 OKRs with a fun neon-themed party. The event was full of energy ⚡ as colleagues gathered together to hear about our results and where we're heading next. After the official part, we switched gears to creative mode, building mini cars and racing them to see who would win. The real victory was the strengthened bonds and the fantastic time spent together. The night ended on a high note with an amazing performance by Vaidas Baumila, and the dance floor stayed packed all night. We love that these celebrations are more than just about big names or fancy themes. It's no secret that we deeply believe in and support the younger generation. June, synonymous with exams and school endings, offered us a wonderful opportunity to engage with bright minds at Vilnius University Business School. Throughout the semester, students tackled a business challenge related to Orbio, and their presentations were nothing short of impressive. We were thrilled to reward the best group for their hard work and innovative ideas. Our journey didn't stop there. We also visited Kaunas University of Technology Gymnasium to award the Orbio World Scholarship to an outstanding student for exceptional achievements over the year. Witnessing the dedication and excellence of these students was truly inspiring. To all the students, we encourage you to keep learning, enjoy your summer, and return in September even more motivated.
