This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the State Data Center (SDC).

Administer, manage, and monitor SQL Server databases, ensuring their performance, availability, and security.
Design and implement SSIS packages for data integration, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks.
Conduct performance tuning of SQL queries and databases, recommending and implementing effective solutions to optimize performance.
Manage and administer SSRS server environments.
Oversee backup, recovery, and replication processes, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Lead the troubleshooting efforts for complex database issues, working closely with other IT teams.
Maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary.
Provide mentoring and guidance to junior database administrators and share best practices.
Strong expertise in SQL Server, particularly with SSIS and performance tuning.
Solid experience in database administration, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
Advanced knowledge of database security practices and protocols.
Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
Demonstrated experience in collaborating with other IT professionals to ensure seamless functionality across systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Self-driven with a results-oriented mindset.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
