The office for this position is located at the Harry S Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, MO.

This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) web team.

What you’ll do: Participate in all phases of projects (design, development, maintenance, and security).
Research, training, new information technology implementation, and technical support.
Problem troubleshooting and resolution.
Participates in the implementation plans for the use of new technology including enterprise content management systems, search platforms, and development frameworks.
Business analysis and process implementation for enterprise-level web technologies.
Participates in the integration of new technology and enhancements to existing systems.
Participates in supporting web development projects, enhancements, and maintenance related to the design and documentation of data models, functional work processes, business rules, and program specifications.
Ensure the availability of critical information for public protection functions.
Responsible for security-related aspects related to information technology and web development.
Technical interaction with all customers including consolidated, non-consolidated, elected, partners, and vendors for the State of Missouri.
All you need for success: Knowledge of web development tools utilizing the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack.
In addition, knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, PHP frameworks, and content management systems (including Drupal or WordPress).
Knowledge of computer logic statements and their applications.
Ability to learn and apply concepts.
Ability to perform basic mathematics.
Ability to provide logical and innovative ideas, and think critically to resolve issues.
Ability to communicate with staff, management, and agency personnel.
Successful background check results are required for employment in this position.
This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
Knowledge of the core programming language used in the assigned area.
Knowledge of computer logic statements and their applications.
Ability to learn and apply concepts.
Ability to perform basic mathematics.
Ability to provide logical and innovative ideas, and think critically to resolve issues.
Ability to communicate with staff, management, and agency personnel.
