    Activities and Societies: Organizer of a ball managing the budget and all aspects of the event from from marquees, music, ticketing and decoration to security and transport.

    Took courses in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including modules on statistical analysis using software such as STATA. Opted to focus on Economic Sociology and the future of work, with a quantitative thesis entitled ‘A Fourth Sphere of Sociability? Social Relations and Internet Use Among the Unemployed’ investigating the relationship between Internet use, technology and isolation.

  • Activities and Societies: Played college level football, netball, mixed lacrosse and rowed. Producer of numerous plays including 'Apples' at the Burton Taylor Studio, 'After the Dance' at Simpkins Lee Theatre and 'A View From the Bridge' at the Oxford Playhouse.
