The new eco-friendly SIMs, set to be distributed through MTN stores and partners this month, are manufactured using 100% FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified materials and are designed to decompose within three to six months when disposed of in soil, sea, or landfill while maintaining the same network connectivity, speeds, and security as traditional plastic cards. #GreenTelecom #MTNSustainability #EcoSIM #PlasticWasteReduction #MTNSouthAfrica

𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐔𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 The Shoprite Group of Companies has launched GetPaid, a payment platform designed to transform how small businesses handle transactions by enabling seamless invoicing and payment collection through digital means. The platform, developed in partnership with Payment Aggregator Pay@, eliminates the need for expensive card machines and hardware. Business owners can generate digital invoices, payment links, and QR codes through their phones or computers. At the same time, customers can pay using various methods including cards, Money Market Account, SnapScan, Zapper, ScanToPay, or cash payments at any Shoprite, Checkers, or Usave stores nationwide. General Manager of financial services Jean Olivier explains that this latest addition to Shoprite's Money Market offering provides a cost-effective solution with no setup or monthly fees, charging only transaction fees ranging from 2.85% to 3.50% based on the payment method. Small businesses can easily register online, complete KYC/FICA requirements, and immediately begin creating customized invoices and tracking cash flow through a user-friendly dashboard, making it an advancement in making financial services more accessible and affordable for South African entrepreneurs while addressing the common challenge of payment delays between service delivery and receipt. #Shoprite #SMEInnovation #DigitalPayments #FinTech #Entrepreneurship #SouthAfricaBusiness
