  [Kawasaki to Enter Civil Aircraft Engine Maintenance Business]     Kawasaki has announced its entry into the civil aircraft engine maintenance business, which entails maintenance, repairs and overhauls for civil aircraft engines.   Kawasaki has experience with PW1100G-JM engine parts repairs through its participation in International Aero Engines, LLC (“IAE”), an international joint venture for civil aircraft engines. Kawasaki will commence maintenance for PW1100G-JM engines, with the goal of ramping up to at least 50 engines annually by FY2031.   With the recovery in demand for commercial airliners and the resulting increases in fleet numbers, steady growth in demand is forecasted for civil aircraft engine maintenance. At the same time, maintenance capacity deficiencies are expected to become a global-scale problem. In response, Kawasaki intends to provide prompt, high-quality maintenance services by utilizing sophisticated technological strengths fostered through experience in joint international development and manufacturing programs for civil aircraft engines, wide-reaching knowledge and experience gained through engine maintenance operations for the Japanese Ministry of Defense, and automation methods derived from Kawasaki robotics technologies.     For more information click the link below: https://lnkd.in/gM5ZNqCM

Our history reflects the constantly-shifting societal issues that we have continued to face head on.   Series 0 Shinkansen train that connected Tokyo and Osaka providing safe and comfortable travel. Japan’s first domestically manufactured industrial robot, “Kawasaki-Unimate” solved the labor shortage during the period of rapid economic growth. LNG carrier "GOLAR SPIRIT" made energy available to countries with few natural resources.   Kawasaki continued to create new answers to meet the demands of the times. [It’s World Space Week] October 4-10th, 2024 is “World Space Week.” The week was established by the United Nations to celebrate the contribution of space science and technology to human development, to increase people's interest in space, and to promote international cooperation in the exploration and peaceful use of outer space.   Kawasaki supports not only the components of the rocket, but also the launch, as space development is expected to have further potential.
