// 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝-𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐙-𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 Lyndex-Nikken 🦾 Machine tending can be seamlessly automated to handle products during the machining process. By reducing cycle time, manufacturers can unlock significant efficiency gains, as every second saved contributes to overall productivity. In this video from IMTS - International Manufacturing Technology Show featuring Kawasaki Robotics Manager of General Industries Sales, Alex Boffi, and Lyndex-Nikken Senior Applications Engineer Steven Morris explain the benefits of deploying robotic automation in machine tending featuring the latest in the Kawasaki R-Series, the #RS025N and the Lyndex-Nikken #EZTEND 🦾 #kawasaki #kawasakirobotics #smartmanufacturing #manufacturing #machining #machineshop #machinetool #industrialautomation #industrialrobots #robotics #manufacturingautomation #wearenotrobots #wearerobotics #IMTS AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology
Lyndex-Nikken's EZ-Tend automation solution is using a Kawasaki Robotics robot. This pallet based machine tending system accommodates 3 pallet sizes. Access to the parts tower while the machine is running allows you to quickly switch out new parts. Alexandre Boffi, manager of General Industries Sales for Kawasaki Robotics talks about the Kawasaki RS25 robot with 25 kg payload being ideal for this application due to its environmental resistance of IP67, compact footprint, and flexible work envelope. ▶ Watch the video to find out more: https://lnkd.in/guYrDnQ9 #Manufacturing #Machining #MachineShop #MachineTool #IndustrialAutomation #ManufacturingAutomation #ManufacturingInnovation #IndustrialRobotics #IndustrialRobots #Automation #Robotics #Robots

For manufacturing companies looking to spend on new capital equipment, that question is given so much attention it overpowers all other factors. But beyond that initial question is an opposing one that forward-thinking companies consider as well: “𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒖𝒔 𝒊𝒇 𝒘𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆?” Bon Carter, Kawasaki Robotics Regional Sales Manager breaks down the effects of choosing not to automate: https://okt.to/AnV8XI #kawasaki #kawasakirobotics #industrialrobots #robotics #Manufacturing #Automation #Industry4_0 #SmartManufacturing

These solutions not only reduce waste and enhance worker safety but also boost profit, ensuring the efficiency and productivity of operations. Marumi Foods Ltd. processes and packs 3-4 tons of daikon radish daily. The produce is quick-frozen at -35°C (-31°F), making them cold, heavy, and slippery. Packing them into cardboard boxes for shipping is labor-intensive and potentially dangerous for employees. By deploying an automated system centered around a Kawasaki RS020N, Marumi Foods Co., Ltd. was able to: 🦺 Create a safer work environment for employees 🌱 Process a rack of 30 layers in 7-8 minutes, producing 9 boxes containing 20 products each per cycle 🏻 Reduce overall footprint for optimal space utilization, fitting into four square meters. 🔗 To learn more about how Marumi Foods Co., Ltd. successfully implemented Kawasaki Robotics' solutions, read the full case study here: https://okt.to/5dyBnP #kawasaki #kawasakirobotics #handling #palletizing #depalletizing #frozenfoods #foodsupply #foodandbeverage #robotics #industrialrobots #automation #supplychain #supplychainsolutions #RS020N

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐬 & 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐬 🦾 Robots and humans are more alike than you may think. Humans and mechanical robots—as opposite as they may seem, share the same underlying structure of links (bones) and joints. Parts that that can freely bend and move about, such as the elbow and shoulder, are the joints, and the bones connecting those joints are equivalent to a robot’s links. The principle of moving joints and transmitting power through the links is common in both humans and robots. To maintain safety, quality, and availability of their products, these operators depend on consistent and easily manageable packaging, transport, and handling methods. In today's interconnected market, it's crucial for everyone in the supply chain to utilize advanced robotics to enhance their profitability, competitiveness, and adaptability In this week's #RealWorldApplication, a #Kawasaki RS010L robot scores randomly placed loaves of bread. The robot locates proofed bread dough using 3D machine vision technology housed in a food safe enclosure and scores the top surface of each loaf at the exact desired score, location, and angle. Because of the high and consistent output by incorporation the RS010L, production, quality and throughput increased over 66% compared to manual scoring 🦾 #Kawasaki #KawasakiRobotics #IndustrialRobots #Robotics #Automation #FoodandBeverageIndustry #FoodAndBeverageManufacturing #EndOfLineSolutions #KawasakiRS010L #DaubBakeryMachinery
