    I attended a Master in Marketing and Communication for 1 year (2006)
    This was done after 6 years technical experience during which I was involved in software developement and technical consultancies and after 5 years experience as a sales person during which I was responsible mainly for automotive accounts in Italy. The idea was to complete my experiences with some basics in marketing and comunication.

  • ADAS Development using Advanced Real-Time All-in-the-Loop Simulators

    GTC Nvidia Conference - Munich October 2017

    This paper was presented at GTC European Conference organized by NVIDIA and talked about how driving simulators can be used successfully to streamline and reduce development time for ADAS and Autonomous Vehicles.

    During this project, together with the entire VI-grade marketing team, we launched a complete new type of Driving Simulators (cable-driven). We have started from a blank sheet and created:

    - USPs
    - Video interviews

    During this project I launched a complete new software product (VI-WorldSim).

  • COMPACT Simulator @ Goodyear

    Selling, delivering and commissioning COMPACT Simulator to Goodyear S.A. in Luxembourg

  • COMPACT Simulator at Michelin

    This simulator was developed for the well-known tire manufacturer to give them the possibility to test tire mathematical models on the simulator before delivering them to OEMs.

  • DiM150 Driving Simulator @ FCA LATAM in Belo Horizonte

    -

    This was the first ever dynamic simulator installed at an OEM in South America.
    This project was particularly challenging because of the ong distance between the implementation team (in Italy) and the final customer (in Brazil).
    DiM150 was implemented in a record time and installation was a success.

  • DiM150 Driving Simulator @ NextEV in Shanghai

    -

    During this project VI-grade managed to implement and commission a new DiM150 Driving Simulator in a record time of 8 months. It was the first Driving Simulator of that type installed in China. NextEV is now using the DiM150 for vehicle development and control systems set up. Driving Simulator is also equipped with Traffic and Sensor environment in order to enable ADAS and AV activities.
    This is DiM simulator #8 in the world!

  • Static Simulator and DiM150 Simulator @ Danisi Engineering AVD Centre

    During this project, we helped Danisi Engineering to implement the Advanced Vehicle Dynamics Center (AVD) by supplying, installing and commissioning a full static simulator and a DiM150 Driving Simulator.

  • Volvo DiM Driving Simulator Project

    This project was about implementing a DiM150 Driving Simulator at Volvo Car Corp. in Gothemburg. We started from an empty room and we implemented the DiM Dynamic Driving Simulator which has been used since then for vehicle dynamics, ride, control systems and ADAS development.
    That was DiM150 #3 in the world after the one installed at Ferrari and at Porsche Motorsport.
    Recently Volvo has declared it managed to halve the development time of the new XC60 by using the driving simulator:…
