Artificial Intelligence is an increasingly essential and widespread tool in the sectors that make Italy great, positioning it at the forefront and capable of intercepting new trends. In the civil nautical sector and the Blue Economy, it is crucial that all stakeholders (State, Regions, Startups, Companies, Universities, and Banks) network and work with a common goal: the growth of the country. Based on this principle, on July 26th, the event “Navigating Towards the Future: Artificial Intelligence and Opportunities for Boating and Maritime Economy” was held at Principino Eventi in Viareggio, organized by the newspaper Il Tirreno of the Gruppo SAE S.p.A. - Sapere Aude Editori publishing group. The event attracted prominent figures such as Nello Musumeci, Minister of the Sea of the Italian Republic, Eugenio Giani, President of the Regione Toscana, and representatives from the Tuscan nautical sector such as AB Yachts, Maiora and Seven Stars Marina & Shipyard. Additionally, it saw the participation of excellence incubators like the Polo Tecnologico di Navacchio, which make Open Innovation their flagship. A heartfelt thank you goes to Andrea Di Benedetto, President and CEO of the Polo Tecnologico Navacchio and head of InnovUp in Central Italy, who skillfully presented our mechatronic technology. The AI integrated into our mechatronic devices allows us to further differentiate ourselves from other mooring solutions on the market, operating in the sectors of recreational boating, marinas, aquaculture, and offshore renewables. How can ports become leaders in global sustainability? 🌊🌞💨 In the search for sustainable solutions, Seares has distinguished itself by launching the “Sole, Vento, Mare” project. This initiative aims to revolutionize the energy management of marinas by harnessing three renewable sources: sun, wind and sea. Through the implementation of solar panels, wind generators and our innovative Seadamp FX, which captures energy from the waves, we have created a system that can generate power autonomously, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and minimizing environmental impact.   The Port of Pisa has been transformed into a model of sustainability. Here we have installed a Single Point Mooring that, stabilized by Seadamp FX, harmoniously integrates different renewable energy sources.
