🌊 Seares at the Confindustria Nautica Blue Economy Conference 🌊 How can the marine industry align with the eco-centric ethos of today's world? Seares will be at the Blue Economy conference, a stellar initiative of Confindustria Nautica, on May 3 at the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte, where we will explore innovative solutions for sustainable maritime growth. The event will feature distinguished speakers including the Ministero dell'Ambiente e della Sicurezza Energetica, Hon. Gilberto Picchetto Fratin, along with esteemed representatives from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, Deborah Bergamini and Giulio Centemero, the Mayor of Comune di Viareggio, Del Ghingaro, and Saverio Cecchi, President of Confindustria Nautica. The Blue Economy is vital for the Mediterranean, fostering sustainable maritime practices that significantly reduce the environmental impact of nautical activities. At Seares, we are driven by the vision of the Blue Economy—a robust framework that fosters human well-being and social equity while significantly minimizing environmental risks. Our participation in this event underscores our commitment to showcasing how our eco-friendly technologies, like our Seadamps, can revolutionize energy use within marinas, promoting cleaner, more sustainable maritime environments. This conference is a strategic platform for us to showcase how our technology can integrate into and benefit the blue economy. Together, we can navigate towards a more sustainable and prosperous maritime future. #Seares #BlueEconomy #SustainableMaritime

🌊 ECO-CRUISING FU_Tour has been represented at the 9th edition of #OurOceanConference2024, which takes place in Athens (Greece) until tomorrow. The summit is organized with the aim at identifying solutions and committing to specific actions for the sustainability of the oceans and their resources. This is a forum for dialogue that brings together governments, international organizations, academia, the private sector and NGOs that share a common vision for the protection of the oceans and take action to support this vision. 🎯 This year's conference focuses on six key points: marine protected areas, sustainable blue economy, climate-ocean nexus, maritime security, sustainable fisheries and marine pollution. One of the hallmarks of the conference is the announcement of commitments that can be translated into impactful actions for the well-being of our oceans. Specifically, within this edition a total of 2,100 significant announcements and commitments for ocean action have been achieved. 💡 These are some insights from the sessions held until now: ✅ An increase of between 440 and 665 million tourists is expected to visit the Mediterranean countries in 2025. At present, three quarters of Mediterranean tourism is concentrated in four EU member countries: Greece, Spain, France and Italy. ✅ In tourist areas, 75% of waste is produced during summer ✅ 50% of the marine life is threatened ✅ 15% of the Mediterranean countries GDP is generated by tourism ✅ 10% of the world’s marine biodiversity exists in the Mediterranean 🌍 Concrete action to increase our ocean's resilience and safeguard its health for generations to come is at the heart of 'Our Ocean Conference 2024'! ➡️ https://n9.cl/4jv2li
