About us
School of Architecture and Planning (AIT-SAP) at Apeejay Institute of Technology was inaugurated in October 1999, under the visionary aegis of Dr Stya Paul (Founder Chairman of the Apeejay Education Society), to coincide with initiation of classes for B.Arch. (1st year, 1st semester) under the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra. The academic session 2000-01 saw the B.Arch. affiliated to the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (formerly known as UPTU), Lucknow. School of Architecture and Planning (AIT-SAP) aims to provide quality professional education in the field of Architecture by: 1. Innovative pedagogy. 2. Inculcating the understanding and addressing the needs of individual, community, society and country for the service of humanity. 3. Creating a healthy environment among the students through academics and extra-curricular activities for overall development. 4. Awareness of current challenges faced by society due to globalization, societal problems and environmental pollution. 5. Organising social outreach programs related to current societal issues. AIT-SAP was recently entrusted the responsibility by AKTU as the e-Learning leader for all colleges of Architecture in Uttar Pradesh. Its students now study through this education support programme which keeps them connected to architectural learning not just in the time of epidemic emergency but is a great aid for the revision of classroom teaching and holidays. Teaching has been enhanced by the tech-savvy and able faculty members who uphold the vision of learning beyond borders with the most involving camaraderie between the real and the virtual platforms. The Institute welcomes fresh minds, willing to imbibe knowledge 24x7 for an intense, purposeful, professional life.
