In the past, hyperlocal micro-influencers had been disrupting the Indian influencer economy. Brands had tapped into the uniquely engaging qualities of these micro-influencers to enhance their relationship with customers. The India Influence Report 2022 was a groundbreaking study that surveyed over 1500 micro-influencers in 35 cities, collecting their opinions on various subjects such as brand collaborations, preferred platforms, content formats, and future aspirations.
Previous editions…In the past, hyperlocal micro-influencers had been disrupting the Indian influencer economy. Brands had tapped into the uniquely engaging qualities of these micro-influencers to enhance their relationship with customers. The India Influence Report 2022 was a groundbreaking study that surveyed over 1500 micro-influencers in 35 cities, collecting their opinions on various subjects such as brand collaborations, preferred platforms, content formats, and future aspirations.
Previous editions of the report, covering the years from 2017 to 2022, revealed key insights such as: i) the ascendance of video as the preferred content medium, ii) the growing popularity of short-video formats among both influencers and their audience, iii) the emergence of vernacular content, iv) the increasing prominence of micro-influencers, and v) finance emerging as a significant content genre among influencers.
In the latest edition of the India Influence Report, Zefmo had incorporated firsthand experiences and insights from micro-influencers. This enriched the report's scope and captured the daily experiences and challenges faced by a broad spectrum of new and emerging influencers across India.

Zefmo, a certified start-up by the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), Government of India, continued to innovate in capturing widespread attention.
The ASSOCHAM initiative drew participation from over 75 companies and received more than 100 award nominations, highlighting the transformative role of emerging technologies in business and governance. -
