I often think about the conversations that have influenced me on my journey.   One particularly impactful conversation I heard was on a podcast by Ranveer Allahbadia with Dr A Velumani. Dr. Velumani's journey from a small village to achieving something remarkable embodies resilience, focus, and simplicity. One thing he said that struck a chord with me was, "Don’t complain about what you don’t have. Make the best of what you do have."   These words aren't just advice – they're a way of life. It's about accepting where you are and finding the strength within yourself to create something extraordinary. When we stop complaining and start creating, we realize that we are capable of more than we ever imagined. Ultimately, it’s not about how much we have, but how much we make of what we have. And that's where true success lies.   As I reflect on the wisdom shared in this conversation, I'm reminded of the saying: "Sometimes, the most powerful lessons come from the simplest words," like those from Dr. Velumani.   1. Start where you are, with what you have. 2. Focus on what you can do today. 3. Turn challenges into opportunities. 4. Keep things simple. 5. Lead with empathy. 6. Don’t wait for the perfect moment. 7. Stay true to your values. 8. Make the most of what’s in front of you. 9. Believe in your potential. 10. 🚀 Exciting updates from Reliance Industries at their annual general meeting! RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani shared the company's vision of making AI services accessible to everyone, announcing the launch of the Jio AI-Cloud offer and emphasizing the commitment to sustainability with gigawatt-scale, AI-ready data centers powered by green energy. The Jio AI-Cloud offer includes 100GB of free cloud storage for Jio users, paving the way for a national AI infrastructure and partnerships with global technology companies to bring advanced AI solutions to India. Jio also introduced innovative AI tools like Jio Phonecall AI and Jio Brain, aiming to drive a transformation across Reliance operations and offer them to other enterprises. A survey states that talents in India take a career break predominantly for the following reasons; ✅To take care of their little ones (post-maternity) ✅To take care of their elderly parents ✅To overcome their physical/ mental health issues ✅To enhance their competency/to switch to a different role ✅To support the relocation of their spouse/ partner Instead of citing the career break as a concern to hire a candidate, let’s appreciate their resilience and intentions to get back to work.
