I often think about the conversations that have influenced me on my journey. One particularly impactful conversation I heard was on a podcast by Ranveer Allahbadia with Dr A Velumani. Dr. Velumani's journey from a small village to achieving something remarkable embodies resilience, focus, and simplicity. One thing he said that struck a chord with me was, "Don’t complain about what you don’t have. Make the best of what you do have." These words aren't just advice – they're a way of life. It's about accepting where you are and finding the strength within yourself to create something extraordinary. When we stop complaining and start creating, we realize that we are capable of more than we ever imagined. Ultimately, it’s not about how much we have, but how much we make of what we have. And that's where true success lies. As I reflect on the wisdom shared in this conversation, I'm reminded of the saying: "Sometimes, the most powerful lessons come from the simplest words," like those from Dr. Velumani. 1. Start where you are, with what you have. 2. Focus on what you can do today. 3. Turn challenges into opportunities. 4. Keep things simple. 5. Lead with empathy. 6. Don’t wait for the perfect moment. 7. Stay true to your values. 8. Make the most of what’s in front of you. 9. Believe in your potential. 10. Give back as you grow. Dr. Velumani’s lessons aren't just for the business world – they are lessons for life. They remind us that, regardless of where we start, what we have, or what challenges we face, we all have the potential to create something extraordinary. Here is the link to the podcast. I believe that all young people should hear this podcast to understand the true meaning of success. https://lnkd.in/dG5Y-NmC #business #entrepreneurship #inspiring #theranveershow

In historically situating #Indo-#Canadian relations, it might not be amiss to recall #NewDelhi's earliest spat with #Ottawa, which followed #India's "peaceful" #nuclearfission #explosion, #Rajasthan, 1974. #Canada was indignant with the #Indians for surreptitiously using #weaponsgrade #plutonium extracted from the #reactor, CIRUS, which went critical in 1960, but whose construction commenced in 1954, for that #nucleartest. CIRUS was #India's second, following APSARA which was, in 1956, #Asia's first #research #reactor. #Canada immediately suspended assistance for two #heavywater reactors then under construction citing #India had reneged on an implicit understanding between both countries. Both, APSARA and CIRUS, were erected at the Atomic Energy Complex (AEC), Anushakti Nagar, #Trombay, a suburb of northeast #Bombay. The entire complex was dedicated to the memory of the #Bombay-born #Cambridge #physicist, and father of #India's #atomicenergy programme, Dr #HomiBhabha, now the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). CIRUS was, as part of the Indo-American Civil Nuclear Agreement or 123 Agreement (2005-08), permanently shut down in 2010. #India #Canada #DiplomaticHistory #ColdWar #NuclearTest

Yesterday, we uploaded Nancy Tyagi's podcast on the Ranveer Allahabadia YouTube Channel. Nancy Tyagi recently became very popular after she was recognized internationally at the Cannes Film Festival 2024 for her stunning outfits. We've posted more than 20 reels about this podcast, and most of them have reached millions of views with hundreds of thousands of likes. So, what did we do differently to achieve such a spike in popularity? Here’s the breakdown: We noticed that: Most of Nancy's audience is on Instagram. Even though she gained fame at Cannes 2024, her Instagram followers won’t automatically start watching her podcast on YouTube unless we give them catchy snippets and reasons to visit our YouTube channel. To make this strategy work, we need to post as many catchy snippets as possible. Often, there will be a guest who doesn’t have a big audience on YouTube but is very popular on other platforms. In such cases, you should always share as many catchy snippets as you can on that platform to make your podcast exceptionally successful. P.S.: Nancy Tyagi’s story is truly inspirational. I do agree with Diane Kalen-Sukra, MA, CMC that you can’t legislate to ensure civility. Legislation sets up the boundaries but ensuring good behavior and a respectful culture goes further than just having Codes of Conduct. I do hope that local Councils take on board the recommendations in the new legislation in Victoria in respect to training for Councillors and do ongoing training around good governance and civility (not just at induction) and also engage in early dispute resolution options when tensions arise to prevent issues from escalating. #localcouncil #localgovernment #councillor #mayor
