I would like you to watch the video before you read my post. People who do not understand Hindi should read the subtitles on the video. Let me now explain why this bothers me. The young lad in the video criticises OOH advertising, labelling it data-deficient and expensive. He challenged the status quo in what seemed like a smart move, claiming that ₹3,000 could fetch a reach of 110,000–120,000 (insinuating that it is a smarter choice than opting for OOH since it delivers data). However, that’s where the data story ended. He swiftly transitioned from quantitative to speculative claims, citing anecdotal evidence—𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬. Ironically, the results he put up showed he had targeted everyone—M&F aged 18-65. Essentially, he did what OOH also does, and by that measure, OOH would have reached 10X as many. Claiming that OOH is a waste of money because it lacks 'visible data' reflects a shallow understanding of advertising and marketing that's undermining the industry. 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞; 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲'𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. The real issue isn’t whether OOH generates data—it’s about understanding how to measure its effectiveness and recognizing what OOH is intended to achieve.𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭. 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞. If you want to compare the effectiveness of Meta and Google ads, compare them with those of Programmatic, not OOH. They are two different poles. I urge young marketers to delve deeper, read up, and understand the distinctions between advertising, marketing, and media. The perspectives we adopt shape the strategies we champion and, consequently, influence the entire industry. The £120 Tie Incident: What Would You Do? So Amitabh Bachchan walks into a store, looks at a £120 tie, and gets attitude from the salesperson. His response? He buys 10 ties—lesson and revenge in one package! Would you have done the same. Let's examine other options he had- # 1: Buy 10 ties from the next stop - He could’ve walked back the next day, proudly sporting 10 ties from the rival store. The salesperson would realize they didn’t just lose a sale but a customer. Could have also left those ties in his store. Outcome: Competitor gets the win. Original salesperson? Regret—or indifference, if they’re too dense to get it. #2: Gift the salesperson the tie - The irony of walking back in with a gift for the same rude salesperson? Priceless. A touch of elegance mixed with sarcasm. Outcome: Salesperson is either awkwardly thankful or humiliated. Either way, it’s a mental checkmate. #3: Buy the whole shop, fire the guy - Make an example out of the salesperson. Better yet, make them your employee and have them sell ties your way. Outcome: Salesperson either learns humility or moves on to a better job, possibly realising it was a blessing in disguise. #4: Walk away, say nothing - The ultimate cool move—just walk out and let the salesperson carry on without knowing who they lost. Outcome: No harm, no foul (except your ego). You win by not reacting. #5: Launch a rival tie business - This one’s about playing the long game. Launch your own tie brand, and make it a point to dominate the market so fiercely that the original shop’s sales take a hit. Bonus: Hire away the salesperson’s more capable colleagues. Outcome: Salesperson sees the business go under—or realizes too late that they were part of the reason for its decline. #6: Buy 1 tie every day for 10 days OR buy 10 and return 1 every day - He would have to face the embarrassment of selling the same tie 10 different times to the person he made the mistake of underestimating. The salesman would probably quit himself. Outcome: The salesperson would be changed man in either case, but AB would've lost a lot of time (money). ---- What would you have done? Comment!

Modi ji may become next Aurangzeb of Hindus If this elections turns out to be good for him.🧐 It’s not a personal thinking but a careful analysis of what he did throughout the years since 2014 with Muslim community and Law. Apparantely , he has adopted the nature of Aurangzeb -the way Aurangzeb did to the subject and tried to make things work for it. Here are few things to notice 1. Aurangzeb mutinized the opposition so the BJP did by keeping Kejriwal into the cell in Delhi. 3.Made a lot of electoral bonds to make into his favour. 4.Gave propaganda to make India -Hindu country 5.Gave hateful speech against minorities specially Muslims by referring them-Jyada bachhe paida krne wale !(such a hate!!) We are in very critical stage where democracy is being compromised and on a verge to finish and may become next country where aristocracy has replaced the Democracy. Beware it’s really a problem that needs a critical attention.

*How to reduce your home loan EMIs* Paying off a home loan can be a financially daunting journey. However, there are effective strategies to ease the burden and potentially reduce the total cost of the loan. Here are five practical methods to consider: 1. Home loan EMI: Check if you can switch loan regime If you took a home ages ago, before the implementation of the External Benchmark Based Lending Rate (EBLR), you might be paying a higher interest rate than new borrowers. You can approach your lender to request a shift to the EBLR regime. This could result in significant savings as EBLR rates fluctuate with market interest rates. 2. If you have a good credit score, ask for lower home loan interest rate Many borrowers are compelled to take loans at higher interest rates due their poor credit scores. However, if you have diligently repaid your loan and improved your credit score, it is time to leverage the change. You can request your lender to renegotiate the interest rate based on your improved credit profile. Many lenders are willing to offer better rates to borrowers who have demonstrated financial responsibility. 3. Can't repay home loan? Consider extending home loan tenure Extending the tenure of your home loan can reduce your monthly EMI, providing immediate financial relief. This option is particularly beneficial if you have repaid a substantial portion of the principal and still have room to extend the loan period, such as up to retirement age. For example, extending a loan tenure from 10 years to 20 years can significantly lower the EMI. However, be cautious as extending the tenure increases the total interest paid over the loan’s life. 4. Transfer home loan to a new lender for better rates Interest rates can vary significantly between lenders. If you find that your current lender’s rates are higher than those offered by other banks or housing finance companies, consider transferring your loan. A balance transfer to a lender with lower rates can decrease your EMI and total interest outgo. Be mindful of any transfer fees and compare the costs to ensure the switch is financially 5. Partial payment can lower your home loan EMI Making partial prepayments on a floating-rate home loan can significantly reduce the principal amount, thereby shortening the loan tenure. If you prefer to maintain the original tenure, you can request your lender to adjust your EMI amount following a substantial prepayment. This flexibility allows you to manage your loan more effectively and potentially lower your monthly financial obligations.

Indian Budget 2024's worst decision ever is removing Indexation on Long Term Property Sales... This will promote Black Money Big Time in the Property Market!!! It's a big disincentive for all honest property buyers. Govt is only promoting dishonest property deals! Personal Example, I have a commercial property to sell purchased in 2009 for 50 lakhs which hardly gained much value and today would have sold after a lot of effort for barely 1.05 Cr. after 15 year holding period. I was still ok since with indexation and inflation adjustment the value was around 1.17 Cr so I would have booked a loss and no capital gains tax but post this budget this loss-making property will still attract a tax of 12.5 Lakhs. So not only do I deal with a loss but I pay taxes on my loss... In which world does this make sense !!! My friends suggested two ways out... take money in black or buy another property which I don't want to, and hold it for two years and if that gains by 5 - 10 lakhs in two years hopefully, pay tax on that...it will reduce my tax liability from 12.5 lakhs to 1.25 L for a 5 lakh gain.

Spurious medicine market in India is estimated to be more than INR 500+ Crores... The modus operandi is simple. Use same 'imported packaging machines' and copy the Batch Number when medicine is in transit / supply chain. ( recall Abdul Karim Telgi counterfeit stamp paper model - quite same ) Globally they are present and work very systematically as model is being managed not by few people but from Top to Bottom .... Drug Inspectors are not competent to get each Drug ( medicine) tested in Quality Labs each month for each brand as there are Lacs of Medicines combination ( recall Chemist Shop )..0.5 mg to 1 gm etc Another bad news is that these Counterfeit pharma Mfr only target those life Style diseases where Patients often purchase medicines directly for a month at one go ( i.e., for Diabetes, BP, Thyroid, Seizures etc etc ) How do you then check if a Medicine purchased from your neighborhood chemist is Original / pure or Counterfeit / Spurious ?? Unfortunately there is NO Fool Proof Formula yet, however one could "preferably assume" & purchase from renown Pharmacy chains as just assume they source it from Medicine logistics Chain i.e., Chemists - Stockist - Dealer / Distributor ( Wholesale mandi of Medicines where mixing takes place ) - CFA - Pharma Mfr. NPPA & CDSCO are two health regulatory agencies of Indian Govt, who were formed to check, however in the last 77 Years, how many times have you read about these Spurious Medicine Raids or about this Racket / Nexus ??
