To address challenges like multidimensional complexity and personalization, Intuit developed versatile kernels such as Trend, Anomaly, and Forecasting. These kernels uncover trends, detect anomalies, and project financial metrics. Insights generated are driving a 10% increase in user activity, proactive financial guidance, and personalized support through Intuit Assist, a conversational AI assistant. Mujumdar’s presentation demonstrated how AI simplifies financial complexity, enabling small businesses to make confident, informed decisions. “We’re going to need an agent for every enterprise function,” said Madhusudan Shekar, Customer CTO at Google Cloud at Cypher 2024. He outlined how AI is set to revolutionize enterprise architecture, surpassing previous technological shifts like the internet and mobile by requiring a complete rethinking of technology, workflows, and user experiences. Shekar introduced a framework centered on specialized AI agents for every function, managed through a centralized directory with multimodal interactions and adaptive user interfaces. He discussed challenges like agent complexity and security, offering solutions such as intelligent orchestration layers and context-aware interactions. Shekar emphasized practical strategies for AI integration, including developing purpose-built agents, creating central directories, and enabling seamless collaboration. He forecasted a future with thousands of specialized agents, democratized agent creation, and a new “System of Intelligence and Action,” urging organizations to stay flexible and invest in AI capabilities.

He highlighted how Generative AI (GenAI) is transforming manufacturing by enhancing efficiency, precision, and innovation, with applications like inventory management, assembly line inspection, and digital twins. Biswas emphasized the shift from static AI models to dynamic systems like Large Action Models (LAMs), which integrate physical actions and continuous learning. Key solutions include deploying AI at the edge for faster processing, using expert models for precision, and leveraging GenAI to simplify complex data. Looking ahead, Biswas predicted autonomous agents will dominate AI architectures by 2025, with human oversight remaining essential for safety and ethical considerations.
