The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) has been officially recognized as Awarding Body and Assessing Body (Dual Category) by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), MSDE, Government of India), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India. This recognition empowers IN-SPACe to award NCVET certificates to trainees completing NCVET-approved qualifications developed by IN-SPACe. This marks a significant milestone in advancing skill development in the space sector. This unique workshop is conducted in India for the first time in thr country. The 03 start ups #ThrustTech #Synodics and #BAAS conducted practical training to the participating students. The launch of amateur rockets developed by students was conducted on November 15, 2024 at Air Force Station Jalahalli. The theory part was conducted by learned experts from ISRO. The registrations for the said Short-Term Course are announced. The course is scheduled from September 29, 2024 to October 05, 2024 at IN-SPACe Headquarters, Bopal, Ahmedabad. The participants will be required to take a mandatory quiz, on the last day of the course. The course completion certificate will be provided to the successful participants. IN-SPACe in it's endeavour to foster innovation and entrepreneurship skills among the individuals and early-stage start-ups, has designed and developed a three-stage unique program. The program is named as IN-SPACe Pre-Incubation Entrepreneurship (PIE) development. The program fosters the development of the entrepreneurs themselves, equipping them with the business skills they need to succeed. By nurturing innovation, scientific breakthroughs, and economic growth, this initiative is expected to be a game-changer. The program duration is of twenty-one month and divided into three phases viz Ideate, Innovate and Demonstrate Pro-type.    To discuss this unique program to the space researcher a workshop is scheduled. Skill Development of Non Government Entities and Academia: IN-SPACe in association with ISRO - Indian Space Research Organization, National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), MSDE, Government of India and Academia is pleased to announce registration for the Short-Term Course on “Advances in Propulsion System for Launch Vehicles, Satellites and Landing Missions”. This unique course is designed for NGEs and Academia on space propulsion technologies for the benefit of common man.  The registrations for the said Short-Term Course are announced. The 17th Australian Space Forum in Adelaide witnessed significant engagement from the Indian space sector, IN-SPACe spearheaded a delegation led by Dr. Vinod Kumar, FIE, FIETE Director of the Promotion Directorate at IN-SPACe. The delegation included Mr. Shashank Saxena, Deputy Director of IN-SPACe, and representatives from prominent Indian space startups: AgniKul Cosmos PierSight Space , TakeMe2Space , Dhruva Space , Bellatrix Aerospace , XDLINX Labs, mistEO , OrbitAID Aerospace , and Skyroot Aerospace . The forum served as a crucial platform for these Indian startups to showcase their advanced capabilities and explore collaborative opportunities with Australian counterparts. This resulted in the signing of two momentous Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) that signal a promising future for Indo-Australian space cooperation. The first MoU was established between HEX20, an Australian satellite platform company, and OrbitAid, an Indian company specializing in developing cutting-edge satellite life extension solutions. The second MoU was signed between HEX20 and TakeMe2Space, an Indian startup pioneering AI-driven compute and storage satellite infrastructure. It is notable that six more MoUs/ LOI are also signed during the event. These strategic partnerships signify a significant step establishing collaboration between the Indian and Australian space sectors.
