4 Days, 25 Women Entrepreneurs, 5 Countries, Visionary Mentors, Supportive Organizers - that's the first eTradeforWomen Masterclass in South Asia, organized by UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD), in collaboration with ERIA: Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia. This past week has been a whirlwind of inspiration and empowerment. It's hard to put into words the profound impact this experience has had on me. I initially believed entrepreneurship to be a solitary journey, but this Masterclass shattered that perception. I met incredible women from Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and India – a community of support, understanding, and mutual motivation. Their dedication and zeal are truly inspiring. The opportunity to learn from industry giants and government officials was invaluable. Their insights and guidance have provided me with invaluable knowledge and a renewed sense of purpose. A special thanks to Ajaita S., our regional advocate, for her unwavering support and guidance. Her transparency and mentorship have been invaluable. This Masterclass has left an indelible mark on me. These natural materials not only add to the uniqueness of our products but also help preserve traditional craftsmanship and support rural livelihoods. By choosing handmade products, we’re not only bringing joy and satisfaction but also uplifting communities, preserving nature, and empowering women toward self-reliance.
