World AIDS Day Today, on World AIDS Day, we honor the resilience of those living with HIV and remember those we’ve lost. This year’s theme, "Let Communities Lead," reminds us that real progress starts at the community level—with local voices driving change, fighting stigma, and ensuring access to care. The Reality is that 38 million people live with HIV globally and 1.5 million new infections occur each year. Despite advances, inequality still blocks access to prevention and treatment. The communities matter as they provide frontline support and education. They foster trust where healthcare systems fall short. They fight the stigma that holds us back. Our role is to listen to community voices, Support grassroots initiatives, Advocate for equal access to healthcare and together, we can build a world where HIV is no longer a global threat. Let's amplify those leading the way. Testing is a Crucial part of it all. Early detection and treatment with antiretroviral therapy not only prolong lives but also prevents the transmission of HIV #WorldAIDSDay #CommunitiesLead #EndHIV #HealthEquity
