Deadpool & Wolverine is the Best Marvel Movie in Years! Yesterday I got a chance to see the highly anticipated movie Deadpool & Wolverine, and boy, that movie is 2 hours of pure fun (and comedy)! I won’t say too much about the story, but I will say that Deadpool needs Wolverine, and that’s… it. And trust me, it’s so cool!! If you want to see Deadpool & Wolverine together, trust me, you get what you wanted. They fight, make peace, fight again, and so on. You can see that both Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman had such a good time together. I must say, there are TONS of surprises in the movie, some of them will make you scream “OH MY GOD!” so hard, so don’t let anyone spoil them for you. Yes, while the script is nice (and a little messy), it’s not the best thing in the movie, but the execution and the cast makes it a must-see event. But it’s actress Emma Corrin who really steals the show as the villain, Cassandra Nova. She’s crazy, cruel, weird, funny and unexpected. One of the best Marvel villains in years. The movie is funny, SO funny. I laughed so much, and the way Ryan Reynolds delivered his line is a big reason why. Let me talk about director Shawn Levy. This is his third collaboration with Reynolds after The Adam Project and Free Guy, and you can see how this collaboration is working so well. The action sequences are so well-crafted and so well-shot (partly thanks to cinematographer George Richmond, who did Kingsman and Fantastic Beasts 3), and it makes me sad that he won’t direct the next Avengers movie. I actually think the movie has some of the best action scenes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! The soundtrack (from composer Rob Simonsen) is full of energy, with tons of amazing songs that really adds to the overall atmosphere. The movie is only 2 hours long, and it’s fast-paced, so you’ll never get bored. In the end, if you are a comic book fan, and you love Deadpool and Wolverine (who doesn’t??), as well as comedy and action – this is the movie for you!! Go watch it on the biggest screen possible!!

Implemented Bach Rendering in Opengl. Previously, per update cycle 💻 it was issuing 1 draw call 📝 per quad, But now its drawing 6426 quads in a single call, Most of which are blue-green quads while some are with textures 🖼️. For some reason the texture is jittering when moving/zooming camera 📸, no idea as to why its doing that 🤔. Also, the Vertex Buffer is dynamic now, Meaning you can change Vertices while the frames are being rendered 🖌️. The way Batch Rendering basically works is, You take all the similar geometry and shove 🤜 all their vertices in a single buffer, And just draw that by telling the GPU how to position them and what color/texture to use. The Vertex position, color, texture, etc. all the attributes are shoved along in the Vertices themselves 😙😙 So that GPU can access them through shader programs, Which again you have to write and provide 😮‍💨 #cpp #programming #opengl #gamedev
