The Menomadin Foundation is proud to partner in this transformative initiative, led by the Ivorian Ministry of Health and Mitrelli. Together with global collaborators, we’re supporting the Institut de Cardiologie d'Abidjan (ICA) in becoming a center of excellence in pediatric cardiac care for West Africa. This initiative reflects our commitment to advancing sustainable healthcare and empowering communities. With expertise from Sainte-Justine Hospital and other key partners, ICA is building local capacity to manage complex cases and establish Côte d’Ivoire as a regional leader in specialized care. We are honored to contribute to this life-saving work, fostering hope and health for children across the region. #SustainableDevelopment #PediatricCare #HealthcareImpact #WestAfrica #SocialImpac Haim Taib Save a Child's Heart
A powerful collaboration is transforming pediatric cardiac care in Côte d’Ivoire, bringing life-saving surgeries and building medical expertise. At its heart is the Institut de Cardiologie d'Abidjan (ICA), growing into a center of excellence and hope for children across West Africa. Since 2020, the Ivorian Ministry of Health, Public Hygiene, and Universal Health Coverage, under the leadership of Minister Pierre N’gou DIMBA, has been pivotal in driving this initiative, advancing pediatric cardiac care through capacity-building, sustainable development, and stronger healthcare infrastructure. ▶️Over 62 life-saving surgeries successfully performed on children. ▶️More than 200 healthcare professionals trained, solidifying the Abidjan Heart Institute (ICA) as a regional leader. In November 2024, Sainte-Justine Hospital in Canada partnered with ICA to perform complex surgeries and provide hands-on training to local medical teams. During a press conference marking the arrival of the Canadian delegation, led by Nancy Poirier, Professor euloge kramoh, Director of ICA, emphasized the institute's vision of becoming a leader in cardiac surgery across Africa. He outlined ICA's commitment to managing advanced cases independently while enhancing Côte d’Ivoire’s position as a hub for specialized healthcare in the region. The success of this initiative is rooted in a remarkable partnership, combining the leadership of the Ivorian Ministry of Health with the expertise of Mitrelli, the Menomadin Foundation, Save a Child's Heart NGO, The Sylvan Adams Children’s Hospital, Association Française du Cœur pour l’Afrique de l’Ouest (AFCAO), and CHU de Nantes. Each partner plays a vital role, from introducing advanced technology to driving knowledge transfer and capacity-building, creating a sustainable healthcare system that benefits Côte d’Ivoire and the region. We are proud to support this transformative initiative, which reflects our commitment to sustainable development and paves the way for a future where every child in West Africa can access the care they deserve. Together, we are fostering hope, health, and brighter tomorrows for generations to come. Eva Peled #MitrelliHealthcare #CardiologyInitiative #PediatricCardiacCare #CotedIvoire #SocialImpact

Merav Galili, PhD: I am deeply grateful to Dr. Miriam Adelson and the Israel Hayom editorial board for honoring me with an award in the fields of economy and innovation for International Women's Day 2024. For nearly five years, it has been my privilege to lead the Menomadin Foundation, an impactful fund founded by Haim Taib—a man whose very essence embodies love for humanity and the principle of tikkun olam (repairing the world). During these five years, I've had the privilege of collaborating with a team of talented and driven individuals, united by a singular passion to enhance the well-being of the State of Israel. Since the onset of the Iron Sword War, we have redoubled our efforts to support local authorities in both peripheral and conflict-affected areas, enhancing community and municipal resilience. Our involvement in the rehabilitation of Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha has been deep and committed, and we have expanded our activities in Tiberias to aid the integration of evacuees from both northern and southern communities. In addition, during the conflict, we have increased our investments in startups that provide emotional support to reservists and their families, as well as in technologies that offer innovative solutions to IDF forces. It's truly amazing to see the impact of our work. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Israel Hayom ישראל היום for this immense honor. My gratitude also goes to Mrs. Michal Herzog, Dr. Miriam Adelson, and all the strong and inspiring women who made the evening truly memorable.
