Orqa Secures Seed Funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners to Accelerate Development and Production of Next-Gen Autonomous Drone Solutions for Defense and Enterprise Markets. The company aims to strengthen its position and ability to scale development, production capabilities and sales globally in order to cater to the surging demand for affordable, trustworthy and advanced autonomous drone technologies. “We are witnessing a technological inflection point, where the ability to produce and field large quantities of affordable, high-performance drones can redefine the battlefield and beyond,” said Srdjan Kovacevic, CEO of Orqa. “This funding will allow us to pursue a much bolder technology roadmap and position Orqa as the #1 provider of western-made unmanned technology solutions. This role offers the opportunity to define the QA strategy and set ground rules for testing both software and hardware products. You will play a crucial part in creating a scalable QA process that ensures product quality and supports the company's growth. Key Responsibilities: ● Develop and document QA processes, test strategies, and department-wide standards. ●Define testing approaches for both software applications and hardware systems. ● Set up and manage manual and automated testing frameworks. ● Establish key metrics to track and report on product quality and testing progress. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are integrated across the product lifecycle. ● Build and mentor a QA team as the department expands. ● Manage defect tracking, test case management, and reporting using tools like JIRA and TestRail. In this role, you will define and establish the standards and processes for testing hardware products, ensuring quality and reliability throughout the development cycle. This is a unique opportunity to build the department from the ground up. Key Responsibilities: ● Establish and document the testing protocols, procedures, and best practices for hardware QA. ● Develop and implement testing methodologies for electronic components, systems, and devices. ● Set up testing environments and tools for environmental stress tests, reliability tests, and performance analysis. ● Define key performance metrics and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. ● Work closely with the hardware engineering team to integrate quality checks early in the design process. ● Lead and manage the growth of the hardware QA team as the department scales. ● Troubleshoot hardware defects and create detailed documentation and reports.
