The report underscores a critical need: the financial services sector in Ireland will require between 6,000 and 9,000 new recruits by 2027, with a potential annual shortfall of up to 4,300 graduates if growth continues at the current pace. This skills gap presents both a challenge and an opportunity. Universities have a pivotal role to play in addressing this skills gap through the development and promotion of micro-credentials.   Maynooth University are therefore delighted to announce two new micro-credentials addressing these critical skills needs.   Starting in February 2025, both these Micro-credentials are conveniently delivered online, with lectures in the evening.
