With Christmas just hours away, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what a fantastic year it’s been for inewtrition, and to personally thank everyone for being part of our community. It’s been a whirlwind of exciting projects, insightful discussions, and significant growth, and I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together. The biggest highlight of the year has undoubtedly been the launch of In4Sight®! Our AI/ML-powered platform is a game-changer, providing unparalleled insights to help businesses (big and small) navigate the complexities of the food and beverage industry. In4Sight® is built on decades of expertise and a vast global network, empowering the time-poor to make faster decisions, mitigate risks, optimise portfolios, fuel innovation, enhance strategic planning, and maintain a crucial competitive edge. We’ve been busy sharing our expertise and connecting with you through a series of exclusive webinars: ▶️ We kicked off the year with Naishad Dalal exploring the F&B trends for 2024 and beyond, uncovering everything from food-as-medicine to innovative front-of-pack labeling. ▶️ We tackled the hot topic of ultra-processed foods with Shimantini (Shimi) Banerjee and Mateusz Wolf to debunk myths and offer useful formulation strategies. ▶️ We dove deep into the world of personalised nutrition with legends Nard Clabbers and Joshua C Anthony, PhD, MBA, discussing new opportunities for evidence-based solutions. ▶️ With ♾️Arjen van der Wijk from Cibus Nexum, we explored agile innovation and upscaling methodologies, focusing on optimising manufacturing networks and maximising resources. ▶️ And with Felipe CABRERA, we partnered with GourmetPro - Food & Beverage Experts to explore how brands are creating new coffee rituals for today's tech-savvy consumers. It's also been an absolute privilege to contribute to the wider conversation through various speaking engagements and publications: ➖ a panelist for the second year running at the Vitafoods Europe Startup Challenge, witnessing firsthand the incredible innovation happening in the nutraceutical space. ➖ presenting at MassChallenge Switzerland’s Summer Curriculum on F&B development, covering everything from medical to personalised nutrition. ➖ moderating a session at NutrEvent on the practical applications of AI across the food value chain. ➖ presenting the latest on functional beverages at Food ingredients Europe and participating in an expert panel discussion on untapped ingredients. ➖ I even shared my nutraceutical predictions for 2025 with Matevž Ambrožič from PharmaLinea. And I’ve been honoured to contribute to two publications on neurocosmetics in the Nutrition Business Journal and Vitafoods Insights, exploring the exciting science behind the gut-brain-skin connection.
