Congratulations to Louise Quill and the Tír na nÓg Childrens Foundation CLG , who received the Chairperson’s Award at this year’s Tech Industry Alliance Leaders Awards last Friday night. It’s wonderful to see such a dedicated foundation and founder recognised for their vision and tireless efforts to improve the lives of orphaned and abandoned children in Tanzania by providing essential conditions, training, and resources. Louise Quill began her work in Tanzania in 2006, identifying the need for a family unit for these children. The Tír na nÓg Children’s Foundation was established to alleviate their suffering and provide a nurturing home. The foundation aims to educate children according to their abilities and develop sustainable projects for local employment. Operating from Tralee and Tanzania, Louise divides her time between both locations, striving to ensure the children grow mentally, physically, and spiritually for a fruitful future.

With over 2,800 employees, providing services across 50+ markets, his vision and leadership have driven innovation and economic growth, both locally and internationally.   This honour reflects Brian’s exceptional contributions to business, his unwavering commitment to Kerry and his lasting impact on Ireland's entrepreneurial landscape. The Cairde Chill Áirne Order of Inisfallen awards, established in 2005 by the Killarney Chamber of Tourism & Commerce and Kerry County Council, honour outstanding contributions to the town’s economic and tourism development. Honourees become Members of the Order of Inisfallen.
