retrofit srcset blocks to accept variables from collection item front matter just as easily as from page front matter

Make individual photos collection items so that they can be reused, syndicated and referenced by their own unique URLs.
Posts of “photo sets” will continue to be maintained, but this will also create a separate stream of photos that can be used by any posts within the site. Photo sets will remain the main way of browsing photos.
