✨ What an incredible edition of #MedFIT and #MEDigIT! As the curtains close on this year’s events, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all participants, speakers, pitchers, exhibitors, sponsors, partners and the amazing organising team who made this edition an outstanding success. Over two days in Lille and two additional days of virtual meetings, the MedTech, Diagnostic and Digital Health community came together for inspiring exchanges, impactful presentations and meaningful connections. Last week, I had the opportunity to participate in an engaging panel discussion at MedFIT Event on “Augmented Intelligence: Balancing human expertise with AI in diagnostic decision-making.” It was a captivating session exploring how AI can support clinicians while ensuring transparency, ethics, and trust in patient care. Thanks to Paul Borm (Nano4Imaging), Simon Max Bloch Lajboschitz (Khora Therapeutics), Garnette Sutherland (OrbSurgical Ltd.), and YURONG XU (Huawei) for the insightful discussion and shared perspectives. We covered key topics like: -> How AI can effectively complement human expertise in diagnostics -> The importance of transparency, explainability, and ethical considerations in AI-powered healthcare tools -> The need for effective training to integrate AI into diagnostics It was a pleasure to exchange ideas with such knowledgeable peers. 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐅𝐈𝐓, 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐅𝐈𝐓, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐈𝐓 It’s hard to believe that this incredible journey has come to an end. 🥹 Over just two days, more than 15,000 connections were made among 1,500+ participants worldwide. Three years ago, as MedFIT Event Business Development Manager, I focused mainly on commercial results. Today, while numbers remain important, what truly matters to me are the experiences and feelings of our attendees onsite. 💫 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐅𝐈𝐓 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧—it’s a space where people meet, inspire, and uplift one another.
