𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱? 🌍💡 The creation of 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 is being explored right now. The proposal, led by Finland’s Ministries of Economic Affairs and Employment and Social Affairs and Health, envisions a permanent platform that connects stakeholders, enhances collaboration, and strengthens Finland’s global image in digital health. Focus areas of the initiative: • 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀: Companies seek stronger ties with universities, clarity in project activities, and expert support for navigating regulations and finding funding. Researchers need help with networking and large-scale project development. Wellbeing services counties want better access to digital solutions and collaborative opportunities. • 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: Tackling challenges in export and international growth will require closer cooperation between public and private Finnish entities, a shared national strategy, and a unified global presence. • 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: With involvement from all five university hospital cities, the network prioritizes the sharing of good practices, advancing digital solution adoption, and influencing both national and international policies. By the end of 2024, decisions on funding for this initiative will determine its future. With backing from universities, innovation hubs, and healthcare stakeholders, the network has the potential to redefine Finland's role as a global leader in digital health. 💫 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗲𝘀 💫 Sharing the same goal to support health innovations and improve the lives of all individuals, we joined representatives from 27 countries, including 97 companies and 100 investors, in the city that boasts a rich past and shapes a bright future. But the future of health is not only about technology. It is also about building a unified ecosystem without boundaries, about patients and people working together on new ideas. Key infrastructure components have been successfully deployed, with the team now integrating the Baseband Units (BBUs) and the high-availability core solution. These upgrades will ensure reliable, high-quality connectivity for hospital operations, especially in critical environments like operating theatres and patient wards. Thanks to rigorous testing in a controlled lab environment, the team is confident that the network will meet the demands of a hospital setting, offering stability and resilience where it matters most. This is an exciting milestone in a collaboration involving Boldyn Networks, WICOAR Technologies Oy, OYS - Oulun yliopistollinen sairaala, Pohjois-Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue Pohde, and University of Oulu.
