listen to my voice https://lnkd.in/gm5ai7rK The Inspirational Ripple How LinkedIn Followers Fuel My Creative Journey ?? In the digital age, where connections are currency, LinkedIn stands out as a professional networking powerhouse. For writers and content creators like myself, each new follower on LinkedIn isn’t just a number—it’s a source of inspiration, a nudge to craft something fresh and impactful. In this article, we’ll explore how the simple act of gaining followers on LinkedIn can be a powerful motivator for creativity. The journey of a writer is often solitary, but on LinkedIn, it feels like a shared adventure. Each new follower represents a thread in the ever-expanding tapestry of my professional network. Something funny happened this afternoon. Well, it’s a sunny afternoon and I had just woken from a nap. I planned to wake by 12:30 pm to write my post cause I had successfully set the alarms. But guess what? I’m currently writing my post by 1:30 pm cause I switched off the alarm myself when it rang. (Don’t blame me, I'm also human 😂). But the message I want to pass across today, I already had an idea of what it's going to look like cause I already wrote out my topic on Sunday. You see as a beginner or someone trying to stay consistent in writing on LinkedIn, you can't always batch-create content like people who have been writing for a long time. But you can batch-create your ideas💡. It’s something I try out often time cause it helps refine your creativity. And also helps you stay on track as you're trying out new methods and styles of writing daily which sharpens your skill as a writer. It's always unique and most importantly it works really well. So I’d recommend it. P.S. Have you also tried batch-creating ideas? Let me know in the comment section. Seeing me for the first time? My name is Faith & I'm a LinkedIn ghostwriter and Website copywriter. Click on my name + follow +🔔 to see more of my content. #Ghostwriter.

Michelle Obama used rhetorical Judo during her DNC speech Tuesday night. One of the key principles in the martial art of Judo is using your opponent's weight, strength, and momentum against them. In debate master Mehdi Hassan's book "Win Every Argument," he takes that concept and extrapolates it to public speaking. He says while we like to pretend the best arguments revolve around hard logic, "the reality is that the success of many of our arguments depends on the language, metaphors, and narratives that we deploy." If you take your opponent's language, metaphor, or narrative and turn it against them, then you've gained a rhetorical upper hand. That's exactly what Michelle Obama did Tuesday night. Just a few weeks ago, Donald Trump, to the chagrin of most, claimed immigrants were taking "black jobs." It was an argument meant to advance his own position, but it immediately backfired, drawing nearly universal scorn. Michelle took advantage of Trump's slip up. She started by saying how Trump was intimidated by the existence of two "hardworking, highly educated, successful people who happen to be black." Then, she delivered the judo throw: "Who's going to tell him that the job he's currently seeking might be one of those 'black jobs.'" It was an absolutely brilliant move which used Trump's own degrading statement against him in a way which was not heavy handed. Michelle's opponent charged forward, and she simply used his momentum to topple him over. The speech was full of rhetorical highlights, but this was one which inspired me to "do something" and strengthen my own verbal martial arts. #dnc #michelleobama #politics

🧠💪 How to Handle Frequent Mental Breakdowns 💪🧠 I've been having frequent mental breakdowns lately. The never ending tasks in the to do list does that to you. No matter how driven, passionate or motivated you are, it can happen to anyone. Some measures that I am currently experimenting with to help myself: 🧘 Practice Mindfulness: Engage in meditation or deep-breathing exercises. 📝 Journal: Write down your thoughts and feelings to process emotions. 🏃 Stay Active: Regular physical activity can boost your mood. 🛌 Prioritize Sleep: Ensure you get enough rest each night. 🍎 Eat Healthily: Maintain a balanced diet to support mental health. 📞 Seek Support: Talk to friends, family, or a therapist. 📅 Plan Breaks: Schedule regular breaks to avoid burnout. 🎨 Find Hobbies: Engage in activities you enjoy to relax. 🚫 Limit Stressors: Identify and reduce sources of stress. 📚 Educate Yourself: Learn about mental health to better understand your needs. #mentalhealth #selfcare #anxiety #stress #burnout #emotionalhealth

STOP DRINKING 8 GLASSES OF WATER A DAY. One day, my mom randomly called me to her room at night and asked me how many sachets of water I drank that very day. I was confused and scratched my head. “Like half” I replied. Oh ohhhh “Daniella!!! Why don’t you like drinking water? Don’t you thirst at all? Infact, don’t you want your skin to start skining?” She screamed. It wasn’t enough that Chinonso Fidelis Egemba (Aproko Doctor) always scolded us online to drink more water, now my mom was doing the work offline😂😂😂 And so last month, I tried to follow the “8 cups of water per day” rule. It’s just an easy one to remember and a nice add-on to my healthy living routine. But is it factual? I went to do a proper research yesterday and here is what I found out… 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 Water needs vary in different people. Which means that for some people, 8 glasses of water a day might be much and for others low. Example: An athletic person involved in a sport can have a high activity level that requires him to drink more water. 8 glasses won’t be enough. Also, plain water is not the only way your body gets hydration. Hydration is basically when you are replacing your body’s water loss through urine, sweat, faeces etc. The food and fruits you consume can contribute to fluid intake. The beverages, carbonated drinks and alcohol can contribute to…if taken in moderation. Metabolism also contributes to body fluid. So this means, someone who doesn’t get enough water from the food they eat needs more water intake than someone who does. Now what do we do? It depends on your goals. For some people, they are trying to cut down sugar intake from carbonated drinks by replacing it with water…good idea. For other people, they are trying to get their water intake up by incorporating drinking enough water into their routine…also a good idea. (I think I fall in here) But I think we can also try to eat more fruits and vegetables to increase fluid intake. Follow Ikwunaeme Daniella for more Healthy Lifestyle tips. Have you tried setting a goal for your water intake before? #Healthwriter #Medicalwriter #Healthyroutine #Blogger #LinkedInSuccessSuiteByChinelo #EngA

Will anyone remember what you write? This is a question I've always asked myself, Since I started putting out my writings online. In April, 2024 I started my page on IG. That page blew up within one month. Sure people agreed and related with what I had to say. But I didn't get much followers (Even less than 20!) My every reel managed to get 3-4k plays Even 100+ likes ; but still not many followed me. They related, they felt but then they left. Honestly, I started becoming a little hopeless. And I just wrote whatever I felt, without editing anything out. Posted them. And soon, many people found me, they found what I had to say. And this time : they stayed. Weird isn't it? There were times when I posted after editing and overthinking for so long, And when those posts didn't perform well, It was surely heartbreaking to see all my efforts go in vain. And when I thought I couldn't do worse than what I was already doing And that's exactly when I started rising up. Higher than ever. Do you know what's the best part about hitting rock bottom? You can only rise up after it! When you think what worse can happen. You don't think about what can go wrong, Not even care about what could go wrong. You just do your best effort and let it go. Don't microanalyse what you do Because trust me, nobody can hate what you write more than you. Don't be the strict teacher you feared, Be the mentor you always wanted. If what you wrote today is not THE BEST atleast it's better than yesterday. And that's a huge thing in itself. Progress is often slow when you see it now but small wins make the big win happen Make the big win happen, my friend. I know you will, won't you? :) Ps : What is that one thing you learned after writing online? ___________________________________________ Loved the story? I can write one for you too! Hi I'm Ruchi J., I have stories to tell :) Let's chat about it, just DM : "storyselling". And I'll see you there! 🌸 #linkedin #linkedincommunity #writing #contentwriting

If you've ever questioned your abilities You're not alone. My beginning days as a writer were filled with moments when I battled with myself–mostly my brain that I was a writer. It went on like that for a while. I sometimes face it even now. Limiting beliefs they call it. I'll write a piece of content and all I could see was something not up to the bar. I'll go online and read other people's content and ask myself the reason why I couldn't write as beautifully as they do. What was I lacking? Maybe I don't have what it takes to be a writer. I was always faced with: •Comparison with others •Imposter syndrome •Fear of feedback •Perfectionism But these are ways I'm dealing with it now: 📍Comparison with others: Appreciate the uniqueness of your voice/work. You are different from others. No one has the same voice/style as you do. Never compare yourself with others rather use their success as inspiration to be better. 📍Imposter syndrome Know that you're enough. Keep a journal of your achievements and every feedback you've received to counter negative thoughts. Having a community that supports you always also helps. 📍Fear of feedback: Criticism when done the right way helps you to be better. It shows you places you need to improve on. Gradually expose yourself to constructive feedback. You can start by sharing your work with friends or groups. 📍Perfectionism: Perfection is a myth. Remember that first drafts are imperfect and editing is a natural part of the writing process. Aim for progress, not perfection. Ps: which of these did you suffer from?

What's better than going on a hike with your dog? Not much, that's for sure. But, you know what can ruin your day really fast? Having to take your dog to the emergency vet because something went wrong. Here are some tips for taking your dog hiking: 1. Know the condition of the trail before you go. 2. Know your dog's fitness level. 3. Keep your dog on a leash unless the park allows off-leash walking and your dog has excellent recall. 4. Come prepared with dog food, water, a collapsable bowl, and a small first aid kit. 5. Keep your dog up-to-date on their vaccines, flea and tick medication, and heartworm preventative. 6. Check your dog for ticks after the walk!!! I've said this before. One of my childhood dogs had Lyme disease, and it made her joints miserable. It sucks. 7. Work on training your dog beforehand. Commands like "come" and "leave it" can be literal life savers. Please tell me in the comments if you're looking forward to hiking. Where are some of your favorite spots (I love anywhere with waterfalls)? Do you have a hiking companion (canine or otherwise)? #hiking #dogs #dogsafety #walks #wilderness #fitness #petsafety #lymedisease #safetytips #hikingbuddy

Last month I did a thing Letting Go of What I Can’t Control I used to stress over things like: • Likes • Follower count • Impressions • Shares • Comments Every time my post didn’t perform well, it would mess with my mood. But then it hit me — why waste energy on things I can't influence? So, I shifted my focus to what I can control • Engaging with my community • Showing up consistently • Sharing helpful contents • Building relationships • Adding value through my content Shifting my focus has helped me to focus on what matters. Now, I don’t let numbers define my progress. What are you focusing on?

People are always in a dilemma: Someone enters your life and makes you feel loved, valued, and content. Let me make it clear: if you are not happy, loved, valued, or satisfied with yourself, no one can make you happy. I'll say it again: if you are not happy and content with yourself, no one else can make you happy. If someone enters your life and you are unhappy, it is because you do not understand yourself; how can you understand others? At first, everything might seem perfect, but over time, you realize that you are not happy with that person. The problem is not with that person; the problem lies within you. So, try to understand and accept yourself, and make yourself happy, respected, valued, and satisfied. Then, if someone genuine comes into your life, you won't be dependent on them. Instead, you both will add happiness to each other. What do you think?

If you did Physics in school, you would have learned: Work = Force x Distance 'Work' is the result you get from the effort (force) you put in over time. Just wishing for something to come to pass is not enough. Sometimes to get what you want, you need to increase the force. And to get even more, you need to increase the force over a longer timeframe. So today's question is, how can you do 10X more?

Pen your progress not just your applause Every day you log into your account and find yet another success story waiting for you on your feed. You start to feel like there's something terribly wrong with you and if it's time you go for deliverance. One thing I've discovered is that it's much easier to share success stories than the process that led to it. If that were not the case our socials, especially LinkedIn, would not be filled with it. I understand that sharing success stories can serve as motivation to others. However, sharing the process and progress that led to it can do much better. This way, people get to see that you didn't always have it all figured out. There were days you felt like not showing up and throwing in the towel but you kept pushing. It will also save someone from making the mistakes you made. So instead of sharing just your success story, also share your: Process Confusions Frustrations Rejections Sleepless nights Joblessness Times you were broke Etc. People will relate to this more and connect with you on a deeper level. Ps: Do you agree with me? Seeing me for the first time? Follow + connect with me Want to see more of this?
