Did I join Yousign? 📝 The picture might imply it... 😏 And when I look back at the great collaboration we had, it felt I was part of Yousign. In France, 70% of start-ups that go bankrupt had raised money in the last 3 years (Les Echos). Suddenly having a lot of cash is not necessarily a gift. In the first half of 2024, companies that had raised several hundred million euros went bankrupt. Cash efficiency is more important than ever. Especially as the SaaS market has largely shifted from an equipment market to a replacement market: one company's growth is another's churn. Unsurprisingly, the CAC (customer acquisition cost) is soaring, while the live time value is falling. How, in this context, can we manage our cash most effectively? When Eric Seclet 🐪 asked me to take part in this round table on cash efficiency, I didn't hesitate. It's a difficult subject, but a fundamental one. 🌟 Daring to Do Challenging Things ! 🌟 Publishing this post is a battle of my ego—one side eagerly wants attention, while the other prefers a more timid approach. A classic example of the dual human nature. Last weekend, I rode the emblematic #TripleBypassRace, one of the premier cycling events in the United States. Covering 118 miles (190 kilometers) and climbing three epic mountains—the highest reaching 11,990 feet (3,600 msnm)—it was a huge challenge. I decided to share this first because I'm really proud of having done it and also to share some great learnings it brought to me regarding facing challenges in life 'comfort zone'; ( I don't like that term as it is not really too comfortable) I prefer to call it the 'zone of fear,' Sometimes, our ego plays a significant role in pushing us beyond our limits. Ego does have its positive side. Almost a year ago, my friend @alexzstone invited me to join this race. Initially, I accepted out of ego, then curiosity, and finally, a bit of genuine desire. My key takeaways: 🚴‍♂️ As in life, training was crucial. Without it, I couldn't have succeeded with just physical training alone; the most crucial aspect was mental preparation. However, even with that, I wasn't fully prepared to spend more than 9 hours on a bike. 🚴 Then comes the challenge of heart ego and will power—pushing yourself from a deep desire to not surrender when your mind says "enough" (for you, your family, even the shame of what others will say) when you want to stop, knowing there are no more hills but still having to pedal another 20 miles to the finish. 🚴 Throughout the process, many people, including close friends and family, questioned my decision, often with concern: "Are you crazy? Isn't it somewhat foolish to spend 10 hours on a bike? They suggested (again with love and fear) that I could quit if needed. These same doubts crossed my mind as well. In the end, it took me 12 hours in total, including breaks, with 9:44 hours of continuous pedaling. Part of it was driven by fear, part by ego, and part by the realization that our minds often limit us. My learning Embrace the fears, push yourself to tackle the things you're afraid of. P.S The photo is only halfway through the race, when I still had the energy to celebrate 😂

With 800,000 freelance profiles and €800M worth of projects per year, there is plenty to say. For ex : 🧑‍⚖️ Demand for AI governance, safety, and ethics is up 366%, driven by new EU regulations.
