Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru- Maison Bouchard Père& Fils- Bouchard Père & Fils ARTEMIS DOMAINES "From Grape to Stars" Project in Burgundy The series represents vats of fermenting wine seen from above. Every year I work with the most prestigious French wine estates in the four weeks following the harvest. It is a work on the concept of transformation, in this case that of grapes into wine, which is found everywhere in the universe. By plunging my gaze into the organic, I show how Man, who is at the heart of this transformation, reveals its cosmic dimension. In this visual metaphor where the vats of wine strangely resemble planets made like us of nitrogen, calcium, and iron I myself transform into “Stardust” to touch, for a moment, the origin of life. I go back in time to capture the DNA of these iconic wines in the early days of their birth. These wines are rare, sometimes almost impossible to find, and some of the winegrowers who produce them are considered Stars. In the category of unintended achievements of starting a sleepwear business is certainly my recent filing of a scientific paper for the Société Suisse de Dermatologie et Vénéréologie congress. Shows again what a great training ground strategy consulting is where I spent the first 20 years of my professional career, mainly advising financial services behemoths: first principles thinking, hypothesis driven strategising, data-driven decisioning, blank-sheet thinking - all great skills transferrable to a wide range of subjects. So what is this about? At Dagsmejan we develop sleepwear addressing clearly specified sleep problems, where the solution can be scientifically validated. Sensitive skin, or atopic dermatitis in its more severe form, is one of the fastest growing diagnose. Today approx 10% of the adults suffer periodically or chronically from atopic dermatitis, and up to 50-70% of adults report on a sensitive skin at least periodically. Sensitive skin is a nuisance during the day, but it can become a menace during the night. Textiles have the longest contact with the human skin and have a major impact on its microenvironment. That’s why Dagsmejan has created a new kind of sleepwear, specifically for people with sensitive skin, helping to soothe skin irritation while we sleep, making sure we get the nightly rest we need and deserve. The sleepwear has been dermatologically tested. In a comparison study, the subjects rated the new sleepwear 62% better for skin tolerance and 76% better for skin comfort than the comparison sleepwear. To the question “does this pyjama improve my sleep quality”, 57% answered with” totally agree and rather agree” vs only 14% for the comparison products. 💙🩵💙 ! 🔵I found some time in this very busy week (found it 'cus wanted to find it 😉) to express a deep #gratitude to the IIAR Journals who featured here at #LinkedIn our group latest paper (Alexia Giro Vocel et al, Anticancer Research, 44: 4983-4994, 2024). 🔵🔵 I am particularly happy to realize that the journal and our group lifted and highlighted each other, and wanted to say it here to Dr George Delinasios, the Managing Editor of Anticancer Research, and, very likely, one of The Brains and The Moving Forces of the IIAR Journals. #doyouknow that the IIAR is a relatively small institution (take a look at the Home Page of www.iiar-anticancer.org), located in #Kapandriti (the #Attica peninsula, near #Athens, in #Greece), but with a #BigVision, established already in 1995 : to become one of the leading #independent #scientific institutions and publishers? And it's very likely (at least it's my #perception 😉) that all this is a #dream of a small group of people (if not of Dr Delinasios at the 1st place), who live in a #LittlePlaceBetweenHills and are making one dream become true. If I am right, then we share a similar #dream, #vision and - #perception. 🔵🔵🔵 Our PERCEPTION study revealed some #intriguing #facts, which might seem "illogical", such as the positive correlation between the #NLR and the tumor tissue CD8-FoxP3 lymphocyte ratio, BUT : several recent papers have demonstrated a great #heterogeneity of #neutrophils, calling for deeper research on these colorful blood cells, which, actually, have attracted me to #hematology and #cellbiology, many years ago (I was a child and saw them in one of my grandfather's books!). 🟠🟠🟠 So, all you who might have found some "weird" things about #neutrophils in #cancer, check your data, validate them in other cohorts, and if you find again the same thing, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF (= publish your findings!) 'cus #NeutrophilsAreNotNeutral ! By harnessing Booking.com's formidable presence on Google, we seamlessly integrated his second hotel onto the platform. Here's where strategy truly shines: positioning. In a crowded market, success hinges on strategic placement—whether at the apex where customers prioritize value over price or at the base where affordability reigns supreme. Opting for the latter, my client astutely targeted the segment seeking quality at a competitive price, distinguishing his offering among 3-star establishments. Our shared objective was clear: capturing a significant market share, aiming for 15% over three years. Through meticulous execution of our strategy, we achieved this milestone and continue to thrive. Key strategies included: • Forge strategic partnerships to propel business growth. For my client, partnering with Booking.com yielded a remarkable 200% surge in online sales. • Understand your audience's preferences and purchasing behavior, optimizing the customer lifecycle. • Navigate pricing dynamics with finesse, acknowledging the perpetual flux between higher and lower-priced competitors.
