What an incredible journey 2024 has been! 🎉 Thinking back to January, it fills us with joy to see how the dreams and hopes we shared—of creating a more inclusive and vibrant wellbeing narrative across the globe—have blossomed. This year, Innovation for Wellbeing Foundation, Colsubsidio, Fundación TAAP, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Axum, Centro Universitário Facens, Instituto Desacelera, Synergos, Tostan, Impact Hub Athens, Bangalore Creative Circus, Pioneers of Change, and Impact Hub Kuala Lumpur brought those beautiful ideas to fruition through 10 awe-inspiring Regional Hearth Summits in Latin America, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Europe 🌍 Each summit was a beautiful mosaic of wellbeing in the region, and we had the honor of witnessing its countless expressions. They opened our hearts and minds, deepening our understanding of individual, societal, organizational, and planetary wellbeing. Every single Hearth Summit added its spark to this collective fire 🔥, a fire that now burns brightly in the hearts of changemakers around the world. A huge THANK YOU to all of our attendees. With *Heart ❤️, Earth 🌎, Hear 👂, and Art 🎨* as our guiding lights, we wove together a rich and meaningful program that aimed to capture the essence of hope and action from each region. 🏔️🌱Reflecting on the unforgettable moments at Hearth Summit Austria, where changemakers gathered in the breathtaking Austrian Alps to reimagine the essence of true transformation. Hosted by Pioneers of Change, the summit united social entrepreneurs, activists, philanthropists, and innovators from diverse fields—ranging from politics and education to science and art. Over three transformative days, we delved into critical challenges such as burnout culture, organizational dysfunction, and societal divisions, exploring how to build a regenerative and cooperative culture for changemakers. ✨A standout moment was the Hearth Hive—a captivating artistic installation reimagining the mythological attributes and traits of bees and their way of life. Created by Ritual Alchemist Angelika Lauber, who is part of our Ritual Alchemist initiative co-designed by Community Arts Network, this immersive experience encouraged us to reflect on what we can learn from the bees' cooperative spirit, resilience, and interconnectedness. 👏Grateful to have been part of this incredible movement, where we embraced not just sustainability but a truly regenerative approach to social transformation.

🔥⚡Reflecting on an unforgettable experience at the #RHSBangalore, hosted by Bangalore Creative Circus, where changemakers gathered around the metaphorical hearth, igniting a vision for social change. The summit united leaders from various sectors — from regenerative systems to creative communities — to discuss how inner wellbeing can fuel action on the world’s most pressing challenges, from climate change to global equity. 🖌️A key highlight was the group ritual, in collaboration with the Community Arts Network, where we created rangoli with rice flour—a traditional practice where these intricate designs are placed at the entrance of houses to welcome wealth and good luck. Being part of a movement is personal, aspirational, and rooted in hope. At its heart, the wellbeing movement for social change is about optimism—an unyielding belief that change is possible. Over the past year, The Wellbeing Project has experienced inspiring growth and momentum, as our network evolves into a movement that is both locally rooted and universally human. This year brought significant milestones, including expanding our research base with Georgetown University to explore the role of #IntergenerationalTrauma and #EcologicalBelonging in social change. Meanwhile, we made remarkable progress in preparing for our next global gathering, the global #HearthSummit, scheduled for June 2025. Reimagined as a “hearth”—a place of warmth, unity, and shared purpose—the Summit will bring changemakers together to nurture one another while advancing a shared commitment to a culture of wellbeing in changemaking.
